So basically I struggle to deal with the constant judder while moving side to side and just moving in general. The footage is slowed down by 50% and its obvious to just how not smooth the game really is…
Would love to know who else feels this also…

i get this all the time. like you press leeeeeeft, then suddenly let go, and then again - leeeeeeeft.
And you have more than 200 FPS !
I really got this choppy feeling to, I think this + the new camera effect lead to this big motion sickness I got playing the new build. Even with 120 FPS you feel like there is 40 FPS or less.
Really hard to play more than 20 min.

Yes a very much agree… This was the first game since Oculus Rift games to actually make me feel a little sick…
I also agree that even 120fps feels less then 60 and even 200+ does not feel like 120.
I don’t see it??? explain
unless you mean the screen shake which sux ye but i dont think thats what you mean

When turning in the one direction there is lots of mini random stutters.
Same when going up and down on the windows.
100s of tiny judders per min + some bigger ones a few times a min.
Try viewing the video full screen on youtube
oh ye I see it
don’t get it myself tho or atleast I can’t feel it
edit: 3:25 is huge prolly just the stutter from someone connecting
So I made a test and all the choppy frame lags are coming when oneframeinterval is off.
So 2 options for the DB players :
Even with oneframeinterval “on” you get some choppy frames lags, less active but still here

Well its worse with OneFrameInterval off yes but my video was recorded with it ON.
and yes that is basically the options right now…
SD really needs to either vastly improve the performance so we can lock at around 250fps
OR
work on reducing the mouse lag…
Would not like to be them >.<
I posted video of my game play and everyone was like whats the big deal… Its the same thing you are talking about however I mistaking called it lag… Anti wanted me to be clear. This is the most frustrating part of the game other then spread or spread recover RLRL.
Performance! This is game “lag” or FPS loss or glitching, warping, teleporting and model movement animation. It all comes down to this smoothness thing… Its all the same and something needs to be done.

Would be interested to know if you lose the stutters as well Pixel if you turn the one frame interval off. The video certainly helps explain the issue you’re talking about
I play since 5 minutes and I got the same choppy framelags … it help a bit to let it “on” but still not fluid
Think you miss read what he was saying mate.
The issues are WORSE when its turned off… This video was when it was turned on.
Well since going back to the default config like I promised I cannot play for more then 20 - 30 min without feeling physically sick. I have had this same problem across 3 computers from the very first day I entered the beta. I totally understand (and I am also quite envious) of the people that don’t feel it.
I will record one with the interval turned off. I will also when I get time do it with vsync on and again with a FPS lock in the graphics drivers AND AGAIN with smoothframe rate on… However what I can tell you is that the problem is mostly gone on empty servers but as soon as 1 person joins it starts.

Ok, useful info, thanks
Really struggling with this patch, just played on LB and barely getting 70fps with min settings, impossible to track anyone and too many deaths to random spam (mainly airstrikes - in one match I died 10/12 times to airstrike spam).
My system isn’t really up for recording with this kind of performance but there is some obvious judder as you move around, aiming is very frustrating as a result and getting frags seems like a lottery.
Also feel that Nader’s martyrdom is way too quick now, impossible to avoid - a balance between what we used to have (too slow and useless) and now would be good.
My 30 FPS feels like 25-30 FPS, so the problem for me is just FPS in general. But I’ve played a game where 25 FPS felt like 60, perfectly smooth, no hint of lag. I’m really curious as to what it is that can do this. I would think just how the animation frames are done and line up with the frames or something, but it looks like the screen movement is affected as well in your video, so I don’t know. Would be interested in finding out. Maybe I’ll have to get on Chivalry and BL:R where I get slightly better framerate and see if this is an unreal engine thing (it wouldn’t surprise me).
Chivalry is on unreal engine, DB is the only game on this engine who feel so weird in term of framerate.
I already make my 20 min of game, motion sickness is back …
