this was a guy using a shitty aim bot (didnt seem to deal with lag all that well at all tbh) and wall hack … stick with its not very long and I only started a demo right near the end of the map (didnt occur to me earlier for some reason)- so theres actually only one instance where its very obvious - basically he tries to spawn rape the axis on radar … the wall hack and aimbot are very very obvious (right before he dies becuase he’s actually pretty shit at the game even with a bot) … he had a vewy funneh nick aswell (oh how we laughed)

btw, this was running on a PB server - amazingly noone was actually bothered … bit mental … when I eventually called a kick vote he was like “but I’m only testing it…” … hmm all a bit surreal but there you go …

I see a guy, proning close to Axis second spawn who was aiming through the wall and got kills (his bullets were traversing the wall) ?!?

I don’t know if he used wallhack cos you could do that (blind aim) looking at the command map. Did you see other people doing that ?? :???:

Yup, that was obvious.

However, the reason it was obvious is that the botter was an idiot, and the demo was taken while spectating him. The point is just because some aimbots and wallhack users are obvious doesn’t mean that they all are.

ive also seen quite a few people with mg garand ( the heavy soliers machine gun ) looking at walls. they just lkay there and sometimes shoot too. i couldnt see if they actually kileld anyone, but still why lay infront of a wall? to cheat would seem ythe answer to me.

Acyually I think its just a bug cause I was specing some very reputable people last night and I believe they see like you would laying prone but to spec it may look like they are looking through a wall.

I spectated a MG42 (axis side) on Goldrush and it looked like to me that he was staring at the Box of gold on the desk… but shooting guys on the otherside…

Does Spectating give us the +zoom that comes with a deployed MG42?

I seem to remember that there were problems spectating the sniper weapon in RTCW somethign witht the zoom issues…(cant remember what…)

I’ve seen that exact same thing happen quite a few times. I believe it just looks that way to the spectator.

Yea, in RTCW you did not always see the zoom, so it looked like people were sniping without the scope up.

I agree that the strange things mentioned above are likely due to the spec mode. However, there could be some bugs also. For example in RTCW you could hide behind the sand bags in Village and shoot through them.

I cant see any evidence of aim bot at all and he he only had 25% accuracy on top.
