A few things.

We all agree that:

1.Covop class gets most the n00bs in it.
2.Medic class is the best fighting class.
3.Soldier with a MP-40 is completely useless.

Therefore I suggest the following:

1.Covert ops:

-Base energy to 50HP. So max health for Covop is 50 + 15 (Battle sense lvl 3) + 20 (From 4+ medics.) = 85.

This would take the n00bs off, as they start to think like “No health no 1337iness”

-Sniper rifle is given to soldier class.

This would make the snipers-only covops go to soldiers, for extra health.

2.Medics:

-Max clips should be 3. One in and two to spare. (You get the second free clip when at lvl 1.)

This would limit their ramboing capabilities.

-Make the picking up of a health pack give you steady health rise instead of a one time boost. (You get 5HP each second for 4 seconds.)

This prevents the run and throw boxes defence with medics.

3.Soldiers:

-Soldiers should spawn twice as fast as the other units, and/or give a minus of 0,5 lives when dying on a max lives server.

This would make the rambos go soldier.

(Also note the adding of sniper rifles to soldier class.)

So what do you think?

  3. Jahuu should be smacked with a large trout.

Therefore I suggest the following:

  1. noob hater:

-Jahuu should be sent to a large building and be pushed off repeatidly untill Jahuu learns to try and help people.

  1. stupid:

-Jahuu should be kicked over and over untill, well, just kicked over and over forever.

  1. Smacked with a large trout:

-Jahuu should tell us where he is so I can bring a large trout and smack him.

You claim it is stupid to hate n00bs. Only stupid do not hate n00bs. It is rather logical since stupidity = n00biness.

Do you have any arguments based on the subjects I posted, or are you just going to flame people with insults related to nothing?

Bringing down the max med ammo is not THAT bad an idea imo, I would however bring it down to 30+90, not 30+60.

Well I don´t know, you get med skill 1 rather fast, and you get the light weapon skill aswell, so it would need to be 30/1 in the beginning, then 30/60 from the med skill and then 30/90 from the light weapons.

A noob with a sniper rifle is a noob with a sniper rifle regardless of which which class he plays. I don’t see the point.

When I go rambo I don’t worry about my own respawn, I worry about staing alive (which is easiest as a medic). Reducing ammo may result in fewer rambo medics though.

Reducing soldier spawn time would seriously screw up game balance.

What’s the point of limiting med ammo? If a med wants to go rambo, just pick up the enemy’s SMG, then get unlimited ammo by picking up enemy weapons from your victims. Most medics I play with do that, anyway, whether they’re playing rambo or not.

Actually the man Majin summed it up.

This game called ET that myself and my friends play EVERY night needs no real improvement. It’s actualy VERY DAMN good, it works etc. etc.

So to the people who keep complaining , god almighty, go away and do something else. Please.

Majin, are you totally sure about the trout thing, because if you REALLY wanna piss someone off do bream as they are such a lower species. Just a thought. :drink:

Yes I’m sure we’re all aware of that but still in some cases it could influence the game just a tad, and changing this small thing could help rebalancing somewhat.

Taking clips away from medics won’t help much. 2 clips is enough to get your self an enemy gun, and after that, you hardly have to worry.

Reducing covops health would make an already weak class nearly useless.

If you can’t kill a medic who is running feeding themself packs, you need to work on aim. Each health gives you just 2 more HP than a single body hit takes away. The SMGs shoot bullets many times faster than a med can drop packs. Switching to medpacks in a firefight is a sure way to die if you are playing against anything but complete noobs. If you the medic can run to cover, then they have an advantage, but your proposal wouldn’t change that.

I will probably stop playing this game altogether if anything is changed to the medic class to nerf them in anyway. Why?

Because 90 percent of the time when I join a PUB game (which I shoudln’t do) I find I’m the ONLY medic on the entire team… not only that, but usually there are no field ops. So I need as much ammo as I can get, whenever I can get it.

Smyler I haven’t seen you in a while… how you been tool? I agree that you agree with Majin, because I agree with you… Agree? Agree… :blah:

1.Covop is the most popular n00b class and that has to be changed. Besides covop is not a weak class it is a demanding class. Giving them lesser health makes the covop team pros-only team, no more friggin “SNIPERZ”.

2.I was not talking about SMG, I was talking about killing a medic with a pistol after your SMG clip ran out of ammo, or with a sten, or with a sniper rifle.
