If ID Software people call it Return To Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory… Well, I assume they know what they’re talking about, having made the engine, licensing it, and all that.
All your correct game names are belong to us !

Still, W:ET is only 4 chars to type, RtCW:ET is 7. I would know what to choose.

(ParanoiD) #23

Yeah: ET!

(kamikazee) #24

What ET?

This Limited Use Software License Agreement (this “Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you, the end-user, and Id Software, Inc. (“ID”). I love how even ID can’t get the name right. Maybe they bundled the wrong EULA?

ID will probably call ET:QW “Return to Planet Wolfenstein: Quake Territory”

You’d think that, wouldn’t you. And then you click the link and it takes you here:

Trust me. Having worked on the actual game you’re talking about the entire length of it’s development, I know what it’s called - even if website admins, marketing guys and ex-staff can’t quite remember

(jjpron) #27

Are you telling us that marketing guys might not know what they’re talking about?

Does not compute…

(Nail) #28

since when did marketing have a sense of reality ?
if it did, “Sniper POV” would have been a hit

all ghey speculation

IGN.com deleted most of their old ET stuff because of the horrible reviews they gave it. They even deleted the forums relating to it recently as well!!! ( I had replied to the review and inquired if he had actually even played it before reviewing it!)

The second shot with the female skins is cool.
We usually have 2-6 females playing at any given moment in our server.

(Shanks) #31

You mean this guy’s review?

(FstFngrz) #32

Nah, that was just some lamer review, The ones they paid someone to do they erased!

(DrGonzo) #33

Wow, haha, that guy is so clueless.

(Jaquboss) #34

from the more screenshots and remains in SDK it is obvious that it is info of selected bot,
there is his portrait ( in other screenshots not in this one ) and icons above his portraits are regarding bot actions…

Man after viewing those screen shots I’m so glad the UI went through some changes. Mmm…
