It’s time for another Dev/Nexon stream and Q&A questions thread! Good questions will be sent to the stream host prior to the stream beginning so that key/important questions are sure to be answered. :slight_smile: This will be done early morning of the stream say, OR the day before, so if you want your question to be sent, make sure you get them in here ASAP! ^.^

Good questions from this thread are now also forwarded directly to the devs for a Q&A official response which will be posted as soon as I receive the reply! :slight_smile:

Furthermore, if you have any issues or important topics, post them here too! These are just as valid. :slight_smile:

If anyone has any specific questions about the game, or possible ideas (pretty much anything you can think of), post them here and I will forward the questions to the devs/stream host, and I will have this to look through during the stream’s Q&A sections.

If possible, I’d like to request people not reply to people’s questions on this thread in order to keep it cleaner and allow the questions to stand out. If you wish to discuss any particular topic someone on this thread may raise, instead of replying here, make a new discussion if there isn’t one on the subject already! :slight_smile: I’d appreciate is people could adhere to it. Thanks!

Note: To clarify - if I don’t respond to people’s questions on this thread, it’s because I am obeying my own “no comment” rule XD Fear not, I will be looking and will “like” all the questions which I will note down.

PS. I try and get around to every question and try to get as MUCH information as possible for you all, so I’m sorry if I miss some or some simply don’t get answered. Post again and I will try to prioritise them!

Whats the state on changes to the cash policy? Will Loadouts be bound to Skins forever, will High-Tier Loadouts be buyable without the RNG and what will be done about the RNG in general?

Whats the state on the Burst Rifles?

Any changes to the M4 planned, any changes to weak weapons (Dreiss, Gradeur and so on) planned and if so, what changes?

Will the Default, Level 1 mode be changed from Execution to Stopwatch/Objective?

NGS update to fix false kicks/alarms and any statement on the Server Issues and whether/how they will be addressed would be nice too.

Can we get min. level 10 Execution mode servers? Or even minimum level 20 servers?

Lv 10 is couple hours of playing. It’s frustrating that I can’t play a decent PUBLIC match in Dirty Bomb. Lv. 20 is almost 200 hours of gameplay. And that is a big difference.

Most players are really good when they reach lv.20. So if you would make min. lv 20 servers, I finally will have a chance to play a decent game.

How much do we have to do for you to prioritise a better trade in system, including ones for CW cards? Myself and others who have paid lots to receive these cards feel slightly done over at the fact RNGesus has something against us XD

When will you take away the quick join restrictions? Execution is the worst gamemode for new players.

Q1. Have you considered making the weapons more unique by playing around with headshot multipliers and damage falloff modifiers instead of just playing around with base bullet damage and spread.

Q2. Have you considered monetizing on REAL cosmetics such as something along the lines of founders skins that would ACTUALLY affect the looks rather than just change your gun’s and raincoats colour as in the current loadout system. There’s little point to get a cobalt rarity loadout for the sake of bling when all you actually get is a blue raincoat instead of grey. Founders skins actually look good and people would be willing to pay for such, that’s real cosmetics.

Could Splash Damage (or Nexon) give us an official list of launch options for Dirty Bomb with a couple of examples of how to use them? Like “here is how to use 4 CPU cores”, “here is how to use 4 CPU cores and 8 threads” etc.
I know how, but many people don’t so I think it would be a nice workaround until performance is optimized.

So it’s been bothering me for a VERY VERY VERY LONG TIME. It’s not that quickscoping is a good choice in this game but in certain situations where you are close to an enemy and you need to quickscope to risk it or they are running straight at you so you know if you zoom in you HAVE to land on them. However the second you zoom in and you see through the scope, the sniper rifle is still in the “no scope” mode. For example, the initial point you see through the scope and immediately shoot, the bullet shoots out a no-scope bullet at random. The animations do not sync up.
Sorry, dunno how to address this in a short matter.

In short: As you’re scoping in, the hip fire accuracy is still present for a little bit after the scoping animation is complete.

I have spent more money on Dirty Bomb than any other game, and I started playing Quake 1 in 1996, thats a lot of games. I did not get 1 card I wanted or use, they are all useless to me. Do you feel this is fair to your players that invest in this game and actually want it to succeed?
