6 map servers.

there fuckin EVERYWHERE, i dont have the time to do a 6 map server and when i just want a little game of ET i usually find myself connecting to 3 differetn servers because they are all 6 map. about 70% of the clan servers are 6 map, i just go on multiplay and boomtown and senf servers cause i know they have proper campeign mode. does anyone else get annoyed at this??

I can understand wanting to go through the entire campaign. You certainly feel more in the game when you’ve played with and against the same people for 3 maps. And the 3 map rotation is a pretty good chunk of time and adds a nice resolution at the end.

Still, dropping into the middle of a six map isn’t that bad. Even if you’re just a little level 0 medic you can still do all the important stuff. You won’t catch up with the guy who’s been playing medic the entire campaign. But you’re still contributing to your team and helping out.

im not talking about that, its just theyve got all there skills and joining half way through you find ti harder to kill etc. i was just sayin that there needed to be more 3 map campeigns as 6 map is bent

Na 6 map campaigns Rule (or higher) it is what makes the game for me…

But i see you point it should Say 3 map etc somewhere…

But why not just change the server select from All or Campaign to SW or lastman Standing, Etc??? if you just want a quick game…

I don’t like 6 maps rotation too :

  • too long to finish the campaing
  • we can’t know if this is the begining or the end of the map : there are so many different rotations
  • hard if we start at the half of the rotation
  • skills are too high
  • many servers didn’t add this information (“Server XXXX (6-8 maps …”))

What we need, is a column in the server browser that shows the number of maps in the campaign, and the current map number, eg 4/6 for the 4th map in a 6 map campaign.

Yeah and it should say what mod is used as well.

Yes, it would be really usefull.

For the next patch :slight_smile: , the picture when we select a server should be removed and add these informations : all maps rotation order and current map. It would be great.
