Does anyone else here have a 5870 and is running et?
I’m getting huge performance hits when i approach anything with tga alpha transparency (trees, windows)
Can any people running et on a 5870 tell me if they experience similar results?
(btw, this happens at higher resolutions, which if u own a 5870 you’re probably setting urself to)
It’s looking like an opengl issue, and it seems to occur when opengl brings this card to 100% load, it seems to dock the performance, as my temperatures stop rising.
Problem fixed!
The new ati 5870 10.5 LEAKED drivers have openGL drivers 15 builds newer.
If you’re running et on your 5870 and you’re having issues, I recommend you grab em and give em a whirl.
