3rd person game like in the trailer (please read)

it could still be a general purpose skill…

(BioSnark) #62

um, yeah. eurogamer doesn’t think so but it could.

I’ll just say: you’re right to not be taking the reports 100% verbatim.

LOL?

Bout the OT, what did you get wrong in first person shooter?

(Ragoo) #65
Well, QW had 3rd person when you took the deployable tool out. It could be in theory used to look around corners, fortunately the game is too fastfor it to be useful at all
It wasn’t useful at all? I really used it this way to look over walls and see where the defenders are, worked great

I understand it as “while you hack the objective you can switch to 3rd-person to see if somebody comes up to backstab you” … sounds cool!

(crazyfoolish) #67

meh, imo too much third person could ruin the game for me.
i kind of wish the game could have been made in third person like in the cinematic trailer so u can actually see what cool stunts u are doing instead of the screen just moving and so u can actually see the outfit u created for your character so basically the character customization is pointless if u are not playing online.i don’t understand why they would make this a first person shooter it just seems dumb.
What about using Prince of Persia style :stuck_out_tongue:
When you make a cool trick or anything the camera takes an awesome angle and follows the player ;).

Offcourse this shouldn’t happen when you are in combat :stuck_out_tongue:
