360 vs PC

So, just as a fun thing / diversion I was thinking about picking this game up. My PC can run it just fine, but I do enjoy playing games on my large TV. Can anyone bottom-line the current state of the platforms? Can you find people to play online? Will I get killed by uber players that have stuck with this game since release? What is and isn’t functional due to Lackovision pulling support?

Is the 360 version really marred by technical issues, and if so what?

Mucho thanks in advance!

About PC, most of us which people call good have left and are waiting for brink, or getting called “hacker”,“aimbot” etc grew tiresome. When i was last on (About a week ago, when my mouse died) their were about 100 servers, 5->10 of which are always populated. Most the players who get loads of kills and have stayed use special cfg’s.

Not sure about 360, gave up on console 2 years back when i got YLoD on PS3.

whats limit you from using you TV as PC screen[as you use for consoles] ?
and “in general”, yes, PC>360 in both capabilities and managing/owning overhead.
major drawback is only console promoters attempt to use trolling/slaving assault on game devlopers to cripple PC games market, by brainwashing developers into “reasonbility” of making games for such [silly/incapable/outdated]devices.
but thats not for long. for plenty of reasons.

I was just wondering if the 360 version had some bizarre issue like Mercenaries 2 did, where EA turned off the servers, which disables co-op and also makes it so the game freezes when you load up as it has a seizure if it tries to look for its servers and can’t.

And for the TV / PC thing, my fiance probably wouldn’t take kindly to me monopolizing all the glowing distraction boxes in the house.

I might just get it for the bot matches, as I don’t like joining up an old multiplayer game and getting killed by the old gods, in which case platform population doesn’t really matter, so I guess I’m more interested in what technical issues might exist. But it’s good to know people still play the PC version online.

I’ve actually got Brink and it just got me thinking about this game that I never picked up, you know?
