<3 splash damage I'm so happy <3

You don’t know what you’ve got till its gone.

It’s so true… For the past 3 years I feel like I’ve been wallowing in uninspired shooters that just are a rehash of each other over and over. Sure tita falls pretty cool but adding mechs and her packs to COD is only run for so long.

The very thought that splash damage epic team play is right around the corner makes me so happy and the gameplay is only half if what has me so excited.

The other half of the excitement comes from knowing that this community of FPS players is about to get new life breathed into it. The splash damage community is arguably the best group of trigger happy mother ****ers to ever lay lead with a mouse button.

I’m so happy we’re back in business lady and gents <3

I for one have not had so much fun in an online teambased shooter since I started playing W:ET. Sure, L4D2 is great too, and there are others, but here is where the community is, and Dirty Bomb, I hope, will lift and take off as a new, innovative intellectual property with a sustainable global impact. In short, it will rock.

Yessss splash damage are the modern day masters of multiplayer combat, especially for fps, and they have some of the best ever communities for FPS games, these two things combined should make for a competitive shooter eutopia rejoice the days of dealing with devs who don’t understand or couldn’t bother with competitive gamers are over

Long live dirty bomb #letsgetdirty <3

Glad to hear! And welcome!

Nice to see some players from different games loving DirtyBomb so much ! I have the same feeling, I never had so much fun playing a FPS except when I’m on W:ET

Some people always say W:ET is dead, I guess it’s more like “W:ET is now reincarnated as DirtyBomb” :stuck_out_tongue:

Welcome everyone and bring even more players with you !

I have no idea where you guys are getting “Dirty Bomb is your savior” stuff from.

Yeah the shooting is skill based, but it’s basically Brink 2.

This is COD\Team Fortress 2\Brink.

“This” is basically in development. Many new features will come, some might disappear. It’s not set in stone for now. But in all the last multiplayer FPS I’ve played, I’ve never felt this freedom and fast-paced action as in Dirty Bomb. The days of W:ET are better left in our fond memories, so be opened to innovations

Minus 250 gold to JackSprat, calling it Brink 2… Have you no respect?

I am open to innovation. I am not looking for another Wolf: ET. I don’t know where you got that from in what I wrote…

Snotling, what does respect have anything to do with me calling it brink 2?

You are blind if you can’t see whole models ported over to Dirty Bomb. That’s not to say game play hasn’t been ported over too. Player movement in Dirty Bomb is not clunky like Brink was, but it is small in map size just like Brink, closed off and instant action just like brink.

I don’t understand the praise for the game besides the skill based shooting. I guess you see my statement and are thinking I want some giant megatextured map like Wolf ET or Quake Wars, but there were quite a few maps between the two games that had fairly small maps.

I’m shooting more along the lines of objective over instant battle. I saw the praise for Brink, and look how long that lasted. This is like deja vu.

It’s from Splash Damage so it’s gold. They had two hits. Wolf: ET, and Quake Wars. What was the similarity between the two? Hmmm?

id Tech 3 ?

(JackSprat) #12

Clever, no. Game play. There are objectives in Dirty Bomb, but the game is pushing for run and gun.

I’m sorry but I see fan boys. So, how are the Brink servers these days?

(Snotling) #13

Carefull, there is a NDA!

(Kl3ppy) #14

Thx snotling

(Snotling) #15

I should learn not to quote the NDA breach too…

(acekiller345) #16

It’s NDA-ception! You broke NDA by telling someone not to break NDA while quoting the very NDA breach you said not to say!

(Rex) #17

You said NDA. Going to report.

(space) #18

This game is far from being brink 2 it’s a modern W:ET once they get strafe jumping down it’s going to be a dream

Hey guys, first post, WOOWOO!

Quick question, i’ve looked around, and for the life of me, cannot figure out how to register my Dirty bomb key, any clues?
I won a key in a giveaway between some friends of mine, help would be appreciated.
I’ve tried redeeming the code in warchest account settings, but it says its invalid…

Cheers in advance.

(Sorry for derailing btw)

(Snotling) #20

You have to download the Nexon launcher, then Redeem you Key and the game will download.
