in recent bug to proxy mine i just realized
This would add more TTK to mine monkey tactic trading for the ability to delay people more.

Hit markers when shooting mines with S&W and K-121. Shouldn’t be the case if they are supposed to have 15hp.

As a Proxy main I see a lot happening. Can’t even “kill” my own mines and kamizaze

Since this bug or pancake patch thing I’ve gotten that audio glitch from mine explosions now too. If I die in the process of shooting one it sounds like a million of them are going off for few seconds. Proxies are going to blow my speakers.

Are you talking about this to discourage pizza delivery Proxy? If so it may make it a little harder but you also have to consider her primaries, one is the fastest SMG in the game, and the other two shoot little pellets…so it’s possible to score 3 pellets on a mine.

I guess it all depends on what you have in mind?

yea thats what im thinking too,

hochfir is pretty fast if proxy gonna use it to kill her own mine but she will need to be accurate.

and for pellets, you can test it yourself how tight the group for the pellet in close range.

so its kinda punishing if proxy cant keep her cool if when shes trying to shoot the mines.

An accurate Proxy doesn’t exist. It’s hard to aim while jumping around on a pogo stick.

Well yeah…a lot of Proxy aren’t very accurate, but still we’re talking 3 out of 8 pellets. Doesn’t exactly require a master marksman’s accuracy.

I guess it would help but I just imagine even the bad players can still score kills unless someone physically sees them dropping the mine, but I also worry about how it makes harder to kill when you consider some spots it is very hard to shoot them then needing to land three shots.

Um i think sd is aware of an issue with the hit box of the nuclear pancake. Think they said something about it having more than one hitbox.

I like the longer mine killing times. Leaves more distraction and less suicide pancake fails.

The two hitboxes thing, whilst being a bug, is actually a nice change if it were intended. Tbh I think it should have like 50hp to stop pizza delivery and make them better at stopping a push.

That doesn’t seem to be a constant thing. @GReaper seemed to have no problems constantly proxy-mining us to death yesterday. :smiley:

naw, 25 HP is enough i think, or one deagle shot

Giving the mine more HP would just incentivize shotgun Proxy and make mines more annoying to deal with for everyone else.

Much prefer the change that was implemented - smaller hitbox, 7 HP.

Wish they made it as long the mine isn’t fully armed, you can not destroy it. This will lower the rush - plant - shoot tactic what the devs were after by increasing it health pool.

Not having a mine being 1 shot to destroy, make it horrible to use it tacticly against the enemy in ranked. The patch made a good change, you have to be more accurate to destroy them but 1 shot destroys it, but it doesn’t solve the main problem.
