I really like this stats stuff coming in next update.
Now I can know which merc I play very bad, to improve it.
(or which weapon is bad for me… well to avoid it :tongue: )

I want to know if I’m surviving more as I progress.

Say all you want about it being objective, reviving ect ect.

but if your dying a lot your doing nothing for your team at all

Good to know stats are coming, but I hope we will get more useful information, such as plants/disarms, revives, healing done, turret kills, mine kills, grenade direct hits/indirect hits etc.

I’m quite happy there is no K/D, honestly. The only class it really has any use for is assault (possibly Recon, but not majorly). If you’re an engineer, medic or fire-support your K/D really doesn’t matter in the slightest. :slight_smile:

I think it’s most likely left out because stat like K/D doesn’t look too good for important players who selflessly suicide rush repair EV’s, plant, defuse, escort etc. if situation requires so. Or are more of a suppression fire blokes/blokettes than killers.

I’ve seen people for example quite a many of times spent 4 spawnwaves in Bridge simply going straight bumrush to EV as Engineer stopping for no one just to get EV that slight bit repaired each time, taken that we’ve noticed our team doesn’t have the synergy to get hold of the area, leaving that as the only option in order to move spawns more convenient for us attacking. So you’re doing objective-wise important stuff but simply dying in process without kills, making your K/D utter crap but absolutely valuable player otherwise.

I think that little marker in the performance tab after match is all we need.

I love that they bait the community into buying Phoenix to get all this stuff for free, and as a result we will have more capable medics on the battlefield, which I absolutely love !

It will definately be a credit sink-- I guess it will avoid some people getting stoker, but not many ^^.

I prefer a medic that go 5/20 but revive 40 people during the match rather than a 30/10 medic that revived 10 people…

That highly depends on the players he revives. “Health insurance” XP tracked would be a more meaningful indicator.

Hochfir is pretty good right now. It’s extremely accurate with an amazing RoF and if you go for headshots you’ll get quick kills. It’s only a peashooter if you go for bodyshots.

I know that. Doesn’t mean it’s as good as the Kek-10. I just think it’d be nice if Obsidians could be combined with a loadout of your choice if you own said loadout already.

I wish the per-merc stats showed k/d (and w/l, but you can calculate that manually) so you can COMPARE performance between mercs, not just getting an overview

lol, the people that care about k/d will play for frags regardless of whether you give them the stats or not. Maybe we should remove kills and only keep assists, so you know how much you are ‘helping your team’?

There WILL be a total K/D ratio, so why not just give us the same for each individual mercs?

Rather than try to police what people are doing, you should let them choose for themselves.

And in any case, pubs are very rarely won by teamplay, and almost always the better shooters win, regardless of their team composition.
