News:

  • Profile stats are coming in the next update – these ARE retroactive, and will be counted from when they last wiped the servers (February, 2015).
  • There is a “mercs” tab in which it will feature all your stats on different mercs.

  • There will also be a “weapons” tab while will show you all your individual stats for each weapon. This includes primaries, secondaries and melee, as well as “ability” weapons (REVIVR/Minigun, etc).

  • There will be another announcement TOMORROW (24th October) for another feature/piece of content in the Containment War Update.
  • Clarification: There is ONE Phoenix Obsidian variation, like the founder cards. The one on the promotional image is the one everyone will get, if you own Phoenix already.

Possible changes/updates:

  • There are plans for other Obsidian cards in the future, however there are no details on what these might be. They will all be “limited edition”, however, much like the founder cards.
  • Separate skins and weapons skins are being considered (these will be different to the loadout cards). However, no exact details on this.
  • The trade-in system is still a work-in-progress, and it’s unlikely we will see any changes in the next update, however it’s definitely a priority to get right for the next iteration of it.
  • “We are not gonna turn into any other game! Dirty Bomb for life – no Team Deathmatch or anything like that.” (Well there we go, definitely no TDM planned any time soon)

Extra info:

  • Guest: Radrodo – GM.

They day after everyone flamed it to death they already said they’d change it but now delaying it is a bad move imho

Kills but no deaths? slightly disappointed but since this an objective based game i can understand…but also if that is the case why bother showing the kills at all?

Showing deaths would cause people to treat this as if it was team deathmatch. They would be too focused on KDR to help their team. A good medic doesn’t really have to get many kills at all if he or she keeps their team alive.

If those are all the stats we get, that’s pretty bland. Nothing there to track your performance and improve your stats over time. Hopefully we can click on those mercs and get more detailed stats.

But I suppose any stats are better than no stats. And it’s the first iteration, hopefully they’ll expand upon it.

If you log in the week after the Containment War Update is released, you will get a Phoenix Obsidian and 2 Elite Cases if you own him. If you don’t own him, you’ll get him for free!

Smart move. Obsidian cards are extremely rare and you likely wont get another chance to get this one.
