2 new maps out ppl

Theres some servers running 2 new custom maps

They are

Trainyard

This is a duel obj map. The allies have to blow the axis gas cannister on the train, while the axis are trying to destroy the allied bridge. The map itself is ok, but there are no consructable or team doors, also i couldnt find anywere to plant mines. Apart from that looks a fun map.

Silly CTF

I really like this map :). Each team has to capture 3 gold crates and deposit it back in there base to run. This is a small map but very intense map, i only played with a couple other guys, but on a 20ppl server and above the map would be total carnage and mayhem - very fun.

Another thing that made me happy was i had a lot better fps on these custom maps.

It would be good if u guys posted about any new custom maps out there so we dont miss any of them :slight_smile:

As for the gamma thats how the screenshots were taken i couldnt be bothered to tweak them. The gamma on my game screen is higher.

Also the screenshots are the same size of the actual game on my screen.

same here, cant find the ctf map, the other map i downloaded it, and it looks ok but nothing out of this world, even though i was happy playing it as it reminded me of old rtcw, with those objectives and flags to be captured and when there are no places to plant mines

It seems very busy though (10/10 most of the time)

If there is enough demand, ill start a 2nd one up.

I wont get to try the news maps for ages, im really pissed :banghead: i have to use a crappy 400mhz cause my brother owns the one can play et. I can play them on saturday or thursday though cause he goes to work :frowning:

cant see the “silly ctf” map but another map is KOTH by Myrkky, based on the RTCW version by SCDS_reyalP (edit: the map design of which is very similar to ctf_multidemo, the scripting of which sounds similar to the “silly ctf”,gameplay). File on jolt or swertcw. Anyone have a link to silly ctf map? the server above only lets me DL at 3kps :frowning:

“silly ctf” Rocks!!!
We played it and Train during our lunch time war.
Everyone agreed for 8-10 players silly ctf is perfect.

Train on the other hand was confusing.
there are passages that lead no where and doors that say they need a tank to blow them but there ia no tank in the map.

I have to agree Silly CTF is a really fun map and it is very enjoyable to play, i hope a lot of servers pick this one up.

I downloaded the sillyCTF map, I havent been able to play it yet since I’ve got a load of stuff downloading in eMule, so I’ll wait for that to finish first.

But I had a look around it, and it certainly looks like a lot of fun :slight_smile:
