i try to install the patch and it tells me it couldnt find et? i sign on to et and ase wants to install it and it tells me same thing!! how do i instsll the patch? thanks for any help
forgot to mention i am running xp sp2 and et is 1.02 2.56 and i restarted the comoputer thinking maybe somethign was blocking it but nothing
did you copy ur et from a cd ? ( many plp do so to save thier GUID ).
if so somewehre in this forum there is a TO-DO for this case…

i might have replaced the key when i d/l et after a computer crash i will check it out thanks
this is what i found
possible fix is install ET again, then delete contents of new root folder and paste files/folders from current working game installation into this “windows registry” understood installation.
