I could not get the 2.6 patch to work with ETPRo 3.10 or 3.1.9 on a Windows Server 2003 box. It did work with the latest version of Shrub and vanilla ET, but did not work with our ETPro setup.
I tried bothe the ETded.exe and the ET.exe +set dedicated 2 setups. We have gone back to 1.02 version untill I can get this to work properly.
bani said if you disable etpro anti-cheat , it will work, but complain about it
but does etadmin work ?
im running my servers @ linux but i think the os will not affect the problem. etmain works fine with the new patch but etpro not - yes i made “set b_anticheat 0” - everytime i start the server i get : Server installed improperly. Please contact the sysadmin.
after i conacted myself ^^, i knew that i know nothing … or that the etpro 3.19 not works with 2.60. 
The Server that I admin, ipkonfig.com, works fine with the 2.60 patch as far as loading up and it’s using etpro. The problem we are having is that no one can connect to it. Several of our clan members installed the 2.60 patch on their client and it crashes to the desktop when they try to connect to our server. I have connected successfully to other servers that are running the 2.60 patch and shrub & etmain, so it has to be an ETPro issue. Bani is supposedly working on a fix right now. Hope so. It’s been so long since I played without hitsounds, that I can’t tell if I’m doing anything or not
Good to know that others had the problem as you know Mysery loves company. I may try the “b_anticheat 0” or just wait until the official ETPro fix comes out. Thanks for everyones response.
