News:

  • Update will be coming next Tuesday at the earliest.
  • ABOUT THE LEAKED LOADOUT CARDS – To clarify further: Some of the “leaked” cards may in fact be in the game, however a lot of them were work-in-progress or concept pieces. Promotional ones such as other Alienware and Logitech ones could be in the game, however Diamond definitely will not be – these were a prior iteration of Cobalt.
  • Due to the server down-time today, the game update will likely roll-out with no or minimal server down-time.
  • There is “something related” to the cobalt trade-down coming in about 2 updates time. (Likely, middle of October) - I would like to clarify this was said a little in-passing so for now I would take it with a grain of salt.
  • There is some “major stuff coming further down the line” when it comes to servers and their performance – most likely to do with ping-limits and server tick-rate. No ETA on it, however.
  • Reminder: “There is a lot of possible content in the client which was concept or never intended to be released, or possibly still being worked on. Take any datamined or leaked info from the client, with a grain of salt.”

Possible changes/updates:

  • They understand a lot of competitive teams want the private server minimum to be changed to 5, and this will likely change in the near future.
  • More loadout cards and skins are currently being worked on. Yay!
  • There is a high possibility open-beta players (including closed-beta players too) will be getting a special loadout card reward.
  • We may be getting a chat mute/individual mute some place down the line. They are aware there are requests for such a feature.
  • It’s unlikely we will ever see a “full merc pack” for purchase will all mercs available.
  • It is also unlikely, when trading eventually arrives, that founder cards will be tradable. They will probably be “account bound”, due to their rarity and exclusivity.
  • Question: Will we ever get a fourth merc slot in the squad? – “The whole experience is designed around the 3 merc system right now.”

-Next Tuesday? Was hopin for sunday or monday but this is OK
-I have spot a Rhino card with new augment, and also new obsidians so those are coming, good to know
-No downtime is great
-I don’t see how ping limit is an issue when there is the “connection to server lost”
-I always take everything with salt cause I am a salty bastard

-Yay! Hopefully those cards will be competition to current “best cards” like the M62 for Fragger

  2. I need this. I’ve garnered a group of people that follow me from server to server when they see me online and spam the chat, it causes actual useful information to get scrolled out of chat.

That’s just Ice Cold, 20% or 40% more time until overheating. It’s already in the game.

Hrm? That is Tough, Chopper and Ice Cold from top to bottom. All three are in the game with the 3rd one being one of Rhino’s two currently exclusive augments (the other being N2O).
