Yes, Gold is far rarer than diamond, but… -shrugs- However “Obsidian” cards aren’t designed to be rare in the same way the crafting tiers work (ie. bronze, silver, gold, cobalt) because they can’t be crafted - so the rarity isn’t comparable, I believe that’s the reasoning behind it.

So no Dirty Bomb at lan party… well finally it’s confirmed so time to move on and try to find something else to play at lan party. Would be nice to know the logic behind this whole server “policy”. For example I would have paid for server binaries to support this game, but now they are saying no Server binaries, no renting server and no LAN party capability? Interesting…

Well, this tends to be the norm in the f2p world sadly… If you want to ensure a same random quality of game for everyone, that’s how you proceed :(… Honestly, that’s not a big surprise, I’d have been more surprised if they had officially announced fully available binaries.

My partner & I were guessing diamond might be their solution to useless cobalt cards. It would’ve made sense, but I guess we still need to wait and see what their fix for that is going to be. I’m sure it’ll still have some shit RNG price-tag. Man, I’m dreading that!

Well if you keep going up in rarity to fix the issues with cobalt currently then they will only plague the tier up and even more harshly. If they don’t add a trade down and simply add another tier, imagine getting a shit card for that new highest tier. It would be rage inducing.

Kira’s laser is no official indoor ability.
Still, it is able to damage and kill enemies that are just at the edge of a roof.
For example, it is able to kill someone at the MG near the wall on Terminal.
However, the laser gets there with its own edge, that’s why it does not reveal its whole damage.
That’s the reason it will not kill the enemy at first, you’ll have to bring it again in the position.

Nevertheless the same happens when an airstrike comes in. You die at the edge, too.

I totally agree. It’d be a crappy idea, but I feel like SD giving us trade-downs would be too out of the goodness of their heart. They need to do something they profit off of. Giving us the card we want would be the opposite of them profiting. The whole point of their evil RNG is to profit. Keeping my fingers crossed for a fair solution though.

While we’ve had no official 100% confirmation that a “trade down” system is being worked on, we’ve been heavily hinted towards that either a “trade down” or re-roll system are in the works! It’s a little way off though (my guess would be at least a month or so, possibly more), but there’s definitely something being done on it! ^.^

They’re certainly not getting any profit off me. I want all my mercs in cobalt or swiss red but I won;t play this current roulette. Give me much more control or I’ll stay with Bronze forever, no big deal.

My gut tells me that trade-downs would have to very expensive, like getting only 50% cards back. I much, much prefer rerolls.

If done correctly trade down is fair for both sides… it should NOT be a 1:1 like most people think, in fact when you trade down I feel as though you should lose 1 card, so for instance it takes 6 golds to go to cobalt… trade down said cobalt and you get 5 golds in return.

If that isn’t enough the ratio can always be tweeked, but then it starts to affect the lower tier card trade downs(Which probably will be more rare but will likely happen at some point).
