News:
- We will have news on the next “Fine Tuning” update by the end of today.
- The next merc release will definitely be “around the 30th September”. (Do remember, this is subject to change if major issues occur with the update)
- ABOUT THE LEAKED LOADOUT CARDS – The ones recently leaked via Reddit and on the official forums, MissMurder has confirmed these will NEVER be in the game. They were conceptual pieces that were previously planned (ie. Diamond was the old top-tier, but replaced by cobalt – and the others were cancelled promotional ones).
- Logitech ones may not be cancelled due to the cases in the game-files. However cards like Diamond definitely are.
- Confirmed: The next merc has an R in their name. (This means, Stoker, Turtle or Thunder)
- It is unlikely we will ever be able to host servers from our own PC. If this does happen, it will be a long time in the future.
- It is also unlikely we will ever be able to rent public servers. (Note: Servers for events/tournaments are supported by Nexon, however private servers are to “take the place” of renting public servers)
- Question: Will we see Dome before the end of October? – “Dome will be in the game before the end of the year. End of October may be a little ambitious, but it’s not impossible.” (Looks like October/November is a likely time-frame for Dome)
- Steam achievements are being worked on. No ETA for this, however, other than “further down the line”.
- Mercs are not being released in terms of when they were last in the game. – For example, just because Javelin and Turtle were not in the closed beta tests, doesn’t mean they will be last. In fact, it may be quite the opposite.
- MissMurder talked about a possible costume contest (for Halloween). No confirmation on this for sure, though.
Possible changes/updates:
- MissMurder said she will look into reducing the private server minimum to 5 so that a competitive team can mess around in private servers. (Shoe also took note yesterday – hopefully this will be looked into)
- Question: Is it true you will be giving Arty an indoor ability? – “I think it’s only fair, considering Skyhammer’s.”
- Question: Why are Skyhammer’s gloves black on the model, however they are white in first-person, and Stoker’s gloves are white on the model, but black in first person? – “It was a booboo…” (Best answer, ever.)
- It is unlikely we will EVER be able to earn exp/credits from private matches – due to how easily it could be abused.
- Proxy’s mines will never be able to be stuck to the walls or roof, simply because that imposes on Fletcher’s ability.
- It is a known bug that the server browser says there is a free slot in a server, but when you try to join, there is not. This should be resolved and fixed soon.
