10 characters instead of 16 now?

Ghey. I was looking forward to having a class of each body type. At least 12 would have been nice.

It was not the topic of that thread, and I was attempting to make more people aware of it, as everyone does not check every thread. This thread can now be used to discuss strategies due to the change. I’m sure a lot of people had the same idea that I did as far as having a combination of every class/weight, and now it will have to change. So, um, shove your attitude and go thread nazi somewhere else.

(Solarcrest) #6

10 is better then 1
plus its like 20 seeing as 1 character doubles for res and sec

(Apoc) #7

Different strategies…pfft, you can make 6 dedicated and 4 random. Strategy done. Commen sense.

My attitude is fine, your just making useless threads. Deal with it.

(Ajax's Spear) #8

There are now two combinations that I won’t be able to make a dedicated character for. I’d like to see what people think they would opt for and which they would leave out. Heavy Operative? That would probably be a definite for me at this point. I have a feeling a lot people are going to cut two medium body/class combos.

Ok there you go. Thanks for your opinion. I wasn’t whining about anything, and if I was then so were you. If you don’t like the thread then don’t participate. You don’t have to ask for a lock like it’s ruining your day. So again, play along or pound sand.

Anyway, what is “commen” sense, and also, just because that’s the route you would take doesn’t mean it’s the best or what everyone else is going to do.

(SockDog) #10

Extra character slots = $10 DLC. You don’t see Mattel just giving away new Barbie dolls.

(Ajax's Spear) #11

You know I won’t be surprised if that actually turns out to be the case.

(tokamak) #12

Did I miss something? Why the hell do people want so many characters in the first place? I would even be fine with just one character.

(Ajax's Spear) #13

I just wanted 12 so I could have a dedicated class in each body type.

(LyndonL) #14

You are HONESTLY going to make a dedicated character for each class and bodytype?!? And when do you plan on using these characters? Why would you want to limit yourselves so much in game by having dedicated characters?

I’ll just make my one character, then when I want to experiment after a month or two another character. I can’t see myself doing more than 3.

(tokamak) #15

Yeah but what are you going to use them for? You can’t possibly know which dedicated class is actually needed before you enter the match or even during the match as it develops.

(Mad Hatter) #16

I know I’ll be using all ten slots at some point or another, just to look different if nothing else. And hey, with 58 skills it will be child’s play to have 10 completely different characters. Sure, you could just re-spec your main character if you wanted a change of pace, but having multiple specialized characters works too, AND it feeds my itch to customize the crap out of stuff.

Because it’s allegedly a heavy penalty to respec. Plus your skills don’t change with your class when you swap classes in game, so you have to set your chars up for what you expect your primary function to be.

Besides, you’ll know what map you’re going into and what weight works the best for you in that map. Say I wanted to take my light medic with silent running instead of my heavy one with Battle Hardened. Savvy?

(Wraith) #18

Same here.

Customization is what of the huge draws of this game. Why would you only want to play one class one body type over and over? I mean of course I will have my favs no doubt but its fun to see everything else as well.

(J.Creed) #19

i probably wouldn’t even know what too do with 16 characters ,and as Solarcrest stated earlier 10 X 2=20 seems a good number too me.

You’re aware that bodytypes will be easily switched ? I don’t think they’re really a need for that much characters.
