1.02 keeps on crashing!

After upgrading to the new patch ET just keeps on crashing, I mean if I am really lucky I would be able to play to maps without a crash!

Even a reinstall didn’t solve this.

Any help greatly appreciated :slight_smile:

When you do a re-install you should un-install ET then delete the entire Enemy Territory folder before re-installing, otherwise whatever configs or files were there that might be causing you problems will still be there.

I have the same problem, E.T. crash only with the new patch, if i dont install it i’m able to play for hours, but with the new patch it crash or freeze the computer after some minutes :banghead:

I have done some tests:

Test1: Reinstall E.T. (without the patch)
Played a 6 map campaign without any freeze/crash

Test2: Installed the patch
Played 2 maps (20 mins… the allies were good =P) crashed before map end (exactly when the allies took the east radar part)

Test 3: installed E.T., Reinstalled and patched
E.T. Freezed my comp after 6 minutes

Test4: Uninstalled E.T., unpatched
All going normally, i’m able to play as long as i want

And the final test: Installed in a different folder another copy and patched it
After the first map, E.T. crashed =(

Thanks for the replies and sorry for not updating the therad when I shuold :frowning:
Anyway, after all it’s not the patch’s fault, my RAM was causing the crashes for some reason. The strange thing is that other than ET they were rock solid not a single crash, only in ET they would crash!
