I know that exectuion mode is removed a long time ago and soon ranked end up the same fate. I was thinking why not replacing with a zombie/monster mode with mercs vs zombies/monsters to attract new players and keep game at least alive for a while rather to stuck with only free servers, casual and assault course for the new players.

Apparently SD is considering adding in the execution maps as an option for rentable servers. Not sure if they’re planning to keep the execution gamemode though.
I definitely wouldn’t mind a killing floor-type survival mode, but I’m not sure it’s feasible with the amount of work it would take.

There is still a chance for execution 2.0. They said theres a small team looking at reworking it. Though nothing else has been said since then.

If they gain new players is mayby worth of it otherwise like you said a lot of work for zero profit.

Players vs. enviroment. It has been discussed before and got positive feedback. It’s good that you bring this subject back to inspection. I totally agree core idea, but dont want zombies, monsters or anything overly supernatural. There is already great zombie grinders out there. Havent heard of monster grinders, but somewhere inmost it cant be good idea. Just a generic NPC soldiers with creepy background brief will be enough for me. If the monster idea will be streched, maybe a attack dog. Perhaps mutated/mad diseased civillians that try to save themselves while mercs try to maintain riot.

To be consistent with the London lore hyper-aggresive drunk British pub dwellers would fit best. Football hooligans or punks could work too.

I have visited few pubs in London. They are the nicest/casual drinkers I have ever seen. Round to everybody culture, even for complete strangers is amazing. A culture shock for foreigners. You should see hyper-aggressive finnish drinking culture. Instead of taking regular few bottles of local beer after work, in Finland you order knifes and pint of vodka once a week. 4am bus stops are war zones and you can expect spitting/glares without any reason.

I did see it and found it fairly interesting to watch. One minute they are sober, the next minute they are completely drunk. I also liked the gender equality where Finnish women get equally drunk and aggressive as men. Finnish catfights in bars FTW. Good times.

I always figured MvM (Mann vs Machine) in Dirty Bomb would be cool, though I don’t know if it would be better if it were robots or just like generic CDA fodder.

I don’t like HOW you said this, but I do love the idea. First off, ranked isn’t going away anytime soon from what I know. And they might consider this down the road. I honestly hope they do as I would love a “zombies” or PvE mode in this game.

A zombie/monster mode and a pve mode is also good.
