Following the recent banning of EISSFELDT and Nexon’s inability to do anything about this game whatsoever, would you like to see Nexon gone for good from this game? I was just curious if Nail and I were the only ones feeling this way, nothing more. I know this will not change anything. Also, let’s not discuss how they are doing in other games and try to implement that here.

It’s not possible to dump Nexon, I just want them to treat us like human beings
EISSFELDT was banned by MistaSparkle for no reason and when called on it just closed the thread, I got an infraction for saying he was a legit player banned by a butt hurt admin
EISSFELDT is playing so I guess his ban was unjustified, but done by a butt hurt admin

Voted yes due to total lack of support up until this point (although it obviously isn’t going to change anything). I can appreciate that the game is in beta and a lot of systems aren’t in place/fully functional, but having submitted two tickets without a response for months begs the question - why even have a bug report system if you aren’t going to address the ticket?
It might be better to stick with the devil we know at this point. I’m sure things will improve.

lol, my issue with this thread is its over simplicity…
I mean EVEN IF Splash Damage could get rid of Nexon there would still be massive questions about Money and all sorts else…
Simple answer… YES! I wish this was a Steam works game.
However, it being on steam would not have made a huge difference if they had no money to finish and publish.

I’ve heard about the bans but I really don’t know what Nexon has done past that. I guess that’s half the point though. They’re supposed to be helping produce this game, and yet it’s been business as usual for the last year+? Bare minimum I need to mess with their derpy launcher, so that’s a negative, lol.

I am just saying that the results would be much the same if the game was on Gamio, Origin, Uplay or Rapture…
ie, we all know its going to be 75% “YES GET RID” because without context people will always point towards their platform of choice and dislike most of the others. I get what you are doing and stuff mate, just think with the lack of context or detail it kinda just turns into a blind witch hunt / public execution.
The real poll would be something like…
“Would you like to see Nexon gone, knowing that the game would have to be released in an unfinished state?”

But see, who said the game will be released in an unfinished state if Nexon is gone? You are just assuming that. People can assume anything. That’s why I just made a very simple and straight to the point vote. Do you or do you not like Nexon? People differ, there will be different points of view but let’s not dig deeper into what could or could not happen if they were gone.

When I said the thing about being released in a unfinished state I was just meaning thats one of 50 possible results and thats why more info context is important.
If the poll was “Do you or do you not like Nexon?” I would say No, I do not like them >.<

Imho if current game development speed will continue - Nexon (DD and etc) will force SD to release db in an unfinished state (what online publisher in the world will invest money for “none-revalution title”(sorry sd) and wait for 2-3+ years for income ?)

This looks familiar (Destiny Development)…
I hope for SD’s next attempt at an independant game they do it all on their own.
Players are only getting banned when they are observed AND recorded to be actively cheating or performing actions that go against the ‘spirit of the game’. Each one is very case by case. Currently we have a lot of players who are trying various cheats to see what they can get away with. Please do not be one of those people as we hate having to ban anyone. Also please remember the game is in beta and if you are not helping the process you may be restricted from play until the game goes live.
Also If you are cheating “to tell the developers” you will likely be issued a ban. Especially if you are a non password restricted server.
From the Banned account thread are they implying that he was in fact cheating (possibly under the guise of showing the devs that he can), or that they can ban anybody they want under the excuse ‘against the spirit of the game’? :eek:

Without nexon I doubt they’d have the funds to not try rush this game. I am glad that this is yet to go to open beta yet as it is FAR from ready. I don’t like the partnership with nexon but fully understand the reasons for picking such a company. I do feel they have complete creative power over the game with nexon.
Do I like nexon? No
Do I want nexon? No
Do I agree they teamed up with nexon? Yes
