Your idea of a perfect map

(.Chris.) #21

Sorry guys, this isn’t ET or RTCW it’s Brink, please keep this in mind.

(Yes I’m grumpy)

(tokamak) #22

We have no idea what would make a perfect Brink map so we’re going by the class based objective oriented games we know.

Oh I think Nucleus is pretty much perfect as well

No you’re just being a douche for the sake of it. My reply was a response to the post I quoted

(INF3RN0) #24

Indoor maps with lots of camping please :D.

(AnthonyDa) #25

Another “I choose when I got an infraction” post ?

Also it’s nice to see that so people are allowed to compare BRINK to previous SD game but others are being insulted for doing the same thing …

I call it as I see it… maybe he’ll get the infraction for another ‘useless post’.

I pretty dont know what to say here, the ideas stated are kinda pointless IMO, “we want a map with a terrain, higher grounds and choke point…” yeah you want a map then. I dont see this as a perfect map, just another map like any game has nowaday.

Peace

Q: What’s your idea of the perfect map? Views of what maps were thought to be perfect for previous games given. Captain obvious comes long “this is not ET/RtCW”… useless. I also like the whole “stay consistent” comment, when you now seem to be arguing against the comparison? Follow your own advice.

A fitting joke for chris

A helicopter was flying around above Seattle when an electrical
malfunction disabled all of the aircraft’s electronic navigation and
communications equipment.
Due to the clouds and haze, the pilot could not determine the
helicopter’s position. The pilot saw a tall building, flew toward it,
circled, and held up a handwritten sign that said “WHERE AM I?” in
large letters. People in the tall building quickly responded to the
aircraft, drew a large sign, and held it in a building window. Their
sign said “YOU ARE IN A HELICOPTER.”
The pilot smiled, waved, looked at his map, determined the course
to steer to SEATAC airport, and landed safely. After they were on the
ground, the copilot asked the pilot how he had done it.
“I knew it had to be the Microsoft Building, because they gave me
a technically correct but completely useless answer.”

You don’t like irony very much, do you?

(light_sh4v0r) #30

tis a good joke though

(INF3RN0) #31

LOLs. Apparently DarkAngel doesn’t like the taste of his own medicine … I predict this thread will die soon.

(Apples) #32

Once again DA fall for one of chris’s classical prank, BAZINGA!

I made a better answer before but with a bit of editing I found this more fun…

/me awaits for the ban/infraction/arbitrary statement/power hungry

(Nail) #33

for me, the game is likely to be released with a perfect map

Irony i’m fine with, hypocrisy is the failboat… you try to do one and end up doing the other… while not understanding either megauberultimatefacepalm

This thread isn’t the place for personal squabbles - that’s what PMs are for.

(Joe999) #38

imo these are perfect maps:

Railgun was a very good map from ET, obviously there is Oasis, Goldrush and Fueldump that always get mentioned but Railgun was a crazy map.

Getting the tug to the north depo and back was a real challenge and was fun for both sides as you both had to attack to push the tug back up to the other side. If the Allies has a strong side though you got spawn camped which I guess wasn’t so good.
