Your Favourite Features of Dirty Bomb

Having no way to unstick yourself if an enemy Felcher blows his sticky, sticky load on you.
Then there’s the lack of variety caused by artificially limiting the Merc choices through rotation, Arty and Phantom being underpowered, the lack of a proper tutorial that teaches the game mechanics, the lack of an in-game browsable tips page listing all the neat tips and tricks for the game, the lack of an offline practice mode, no private servers, five maps and two gamemodes…
Oh wait, you said favorite features. Nevermind.
Man, how funny would it be to have to frantically flail your mouse around to un-sticky a sticky bomb? I think I might start playing Fletcher just to sticky people and watch them squirm rather than blow them up.
That would be neat, albeit useless since they get detonated almost immediately, but still for those tiny chances to shake one off and live, that’d be nice.
Maybe implement a delayed arming like Proxy’s mines, during which the enemy can shake off a sticky…onto a teammate if they’re not careful.
If you kill the Fletcher and gib him the Sticky vanishes from your body.
Usually I can rant on why a game sucks for quite a while… but when it comes to what’s good about it, I get a bit stuck for words. I wanna say it’s unique, but it isn’t THAT unique. I wanna say it’s fun, but a lot of the appeal for me is just grinding.
Wall jumps. nuf said
oh and immersion, hand movements voice acting etc.
frikken love this game
Gunplay and movement. No current game matches either. The gunplay is as skill based as you can get in a ‘modern’ ground based shooter and the movement system is much much deeper than I originally thought when I first started playing. My ability to move better than other players and the creativity that you can employ gets me almost as many kills as my aim.
The sheer satisfaction I get from the hit sounds got me addicted. It felt a bit intrusive for the first few minutes but now I miss it in every other FPS I play.
