yay.

i just had some pretty nice matches, one in particular was super awsome. so, i thought maybe we could have a topic where you post your super awsome cool moments in brink.

so, here goes mine.

im playing operative currently and its pretty fun. throwing the spike grenades, throwing the sticky grenade, run around like crazy. lots of fun.

so. security tower it is. stopwatch. me currently security. the resistance already is inside the building, pushing forward to the hacking room. lots of fighting at the top level as they try to get into the hacking room.

i, as an operative, doing my business somehwere else and get me some disguise. running up the stairs, facing like 4-5 resistance, in my back the rest of the security. heck. i break my disguise and coincedently have a carb equipped. :smiley: im very close range to 4-5 resistance now. they must be surprised to see a fellow res player turning into a security guy, starting to fire the carb beast. 2 seconds later, lots of brain on the floor. lots of dead resistance. i got hit a bit, mostly from my fellow security guys (friendly fire enabled), but i somehow managed to slide to the side and survived to continue my madness.

yea. was cool to kill half the resistance in 2-3 seconds.

aim for the head! :slight_smile:

I would show you the videos if I could’ve recorded replays of the game…

Though as of now most fun moments consist of groups walking into gotlings. People need to learn.

Made a private match with only me in it and did some sight seeing on all the maps

I was playing with my friends. I was a light operative. Another friend was an engineer opening the safe. Another friend was a medic ready to speed boost me. And another was a heavy soldier holding everyone back. As soon as the engi did his job, I got speed buffed and ran with the case and we won.

They should try it as an ability. Not sure how effective dual pistols would be, but its worth a shot. was in the trailer. Then again, there are moments in every trailer that don’t make a game. Dual pistols in Halo always drive me crazy. I’d rather have a shotty.

Hopfully because it was in the trailer twice lol. and it would give ppl more of a reason to use pistols, some of which are good but some no need for and hardly anyone uses.

You can boost easily but going on reactor, get a friend. Make min team 0 max team size 1. Then start hacking. Get it up to exactly 50 (just to be safe). Then have the friend engineer start defusing (and you keep hacking). Have the engineer find a way to hold down the button (rubberband works). Now go do something while you rack up 1000’s of points in minutes.

I don’t exactly remember how much you make (didn’t play in a while) but you get like 50 for hacking, and then around 75 for defending. In one hour, you get 30k.

Ino, the revolver is actually better than the draganov with the ‘acog’ site, its 2 or 1 hit kill very accurate seems to have just as good range and has a higher rate of fire, its a beast lol. The sea eagle can be very good, the machine pistol ok (shown in the trailers as kimbo), but the others… well you would be better off just using the above 3.

I did it on my engineer because I didn’t find him fun. But most of the time. It was when me and my friends got bored and we all said “we are going to do something else now”. So we set this up and we went our separate ways for a couple of hours doing other stuff. Then we came back and “level up”.

This can be done with even amount of players (2 ops, 2 engis). It’s really SDs fault that it’s in the game. Just shows their lack of programming =/

Who cares, you play a game to have fun n play it how it should be. If you play it to boost on your own with a friend doind the same pointless thing for 10 minuits your a loser, lol. anyone whos not crap can get the same or near just playing a match.

You do realize that the new abilities ADD to the gameplay. I wasn’t doing it to get a shiny star. I was doing it to get some abilities that I seemed like fun and I don’t think I had the willpower to play the same map with the same bots. This would apply if I actually HAD fun playing. I knew I was going to quit soon, so I just boosted quickly. Tried out new abilities. Quit.
