Detective Jim Jackson isn’t known for his subtlety. Whether he’s kickin’ down doors with his size 12 cowboy boots, or blowin’ away bad guys with his .44 Magnum, Jim Jackson don’t mess around! Joining the Academy at age 21, he was a badass from the start, always pushing things to the extreme. His first bust was a couple of thugs trying to rob a liquor store…2 broken noses, a broken arm, and a punctured lung later, they were spending the night in the hospital, and eventually jail. The city of San Francisco was in for some trouble…
Car crashes, explosions, bar fights, fistfights, gunfights, fistfights with guys in bars that explode and crash cars with guns attached to them…Jim has been there, done that! Jim Jackson doesn’t have a middle name, but if he did, it would probably be something like Suspension, Disturbing the Peace, Reckless Endangerment, Vehicular Manslaughter, Assault, Harassment…I think you get the point…All the havoc Jim created through the years, it’s amazing he never made the FBI’s top 10…but he did make detective at age 33, and although his methods may be a bit ”unorthodox,” he’s the best damned detective the Department had to offer. His fellow officers joked around saying he must have brass balls, and hence the nickname “Metalballs” Jackson was born.
When he’s not on the job, Jim is another man - a family man. Both a devoted husband and a loving father, his lovely wife and daughter mean the world to him, and he does all he can to make sure that World is a better place for both of them…But that was a long a time ago. California is no more, as well as all of the West and East Coasts, and the family that meant so much to him was taken away in the Great Flood. It’s now 2045, and the world is a watery wasteland. What’s left of civilization has packed up and moved to the Ark - a self-sustaining, prototype, “vision of the future,” floating out at sea, and things there are going to [censored] fast. On one side, you have Jim and rest of the Security just trying to keep the peace and everyone on the Ark alive, and on the other, you have the Resistance - a ragtag group of refugees who have banded together planning some sort of “revolution.” They’re gonna tear this whole god damned place apart, and Jim can’t have that.
He’s been a part of Security for awhile now, and up until recently, things have been pretty calm. But now these greedy, communist, dirtbags wanna ruin it for everyone and threaten the lives of civilians? I don’t think so. Not on Jim’s watch! So now’s he’s gone from “Protect and serve,” to full-blown quantum singularity kicker, as he joins the ranks on the frontlines in an all-out war against the Resistance. Things have gotten personal for Detective Jim Jackson and he’s gonna take it out on their faces! It’s been rough these last couple of weeks and even Jackson ain’t made of stone. It takes its toll on a man, breaks him, makes him reevaluate his life, his purpose. It’s the memory of his wife and daughter that keeps Jim going, because at the end of the day, that’s all it comes down to - making the world a better place for them. [/QUOTE]
Thought it might be interesting and hilarious to hear what anyone else comes up with. Multiple characters welcome…
Tarantino would be in his 80s, btw.
