Indeed. Those who remember the early months of Open Beta back in 2015 know how bad the matches were at the time; maybe 1% of the games population understood how to play the game properly and, the majority of the time anyways, those players had to carry whenever they decided they wanted to play Dirty Bomb. This is a low point at worst, not a Dark Age.
Personally, I disappeared off the radar from this game for close to a year due to a mix of work and pure frustration with the game due to that situation being so prevalent; so I may be a tad biased on my opinion here due to this fact but I personally feel 2015, along with a large part of 2016, was the true Dark Age of DB. The previous year and this one are nothing compared to the horrors of those days; at least every match couldn’t qualify as a legal means of torture now, so it’s a noticeable improvement to the matches we saw in 2015-2016.
