You cannot join a match as a "Spectator" if the match is already full, correct?

I’ve tried several times to join matches that are full already as a spectator but the game does not allow you, as it says the match is already full.

But, if I join a match with a open slot as a spectator, after I’ve joined the match can fill up each teams spots yet I can stay connected as a spectator.

Should we be able to specate full matches? or is this working as intended?

Also how many spectators can a match support?

Spectating takes a slot. Hence why I yell at people sitting in spec for multiple rounds when the game is full.

Honestly the only time you should be spectating is if you think someone is cheating and you’re trying to record evidence.

That is exactly why I am spectating. I’m spying on an enemy player who smells fishy.
