We all know the S.M.A.R.T system, but what about some of the other “attachments.” I don’t have anything against the S.M.A.R.T system, but I am a fan of unmentioned additions. An example is gun camo’s or fire rate. These probably have been discussed, but i would like to see some un-mentioned features. If you have any info. and want to share it. (if your a hater don’t tell someone else that has been said.) Anyways, the soundtrack. I think a rock song from ACDC or Metallica would fit well into this game. If You have any opinions on anything mentioned be sure to post that. Thanks!
Yea, I know That
If I had to pick any music at all it’d be some ambient drum&bass. I’d probably turn that off too though
If we mention them, they will no longer be unmentioned and then you won’t wanna know about them.
I’m dying for new intel, too. but i guess we have to be patient to see all of it. i’m sure in the end it’ll be worth it.
though i strongly disagree on your music suggestions, that game doesn’t need any “rock” songs of those ol’ greedy bastards. IF any licensed songs should actually be used instead of an original score (which i would prefer) then please by the love of god something fresh, young and (for i have no other word) un-mainstream-y.
I still have no idea what this thread is about.
I do like cold korg sounds in the music of the videos though.
Money spent on music, means less on gameplay… you could re-coup through I-tunes sales of soundtrack… have you seen the game soundtracks you can get online?
DnB would be fine. more than this i would prefeer DubStep with nasty basses.
and of course the voices of my lovely, silly and totally crazy clanmates in teamspeak
You can play music outside the game, so I don’t see why they need to add music to it

it worked pretty well in THPS and NFS and actually did pretty much for the whole experience IMO. wouldn’t work for brink tho
Didn’t the guys say that as an XBox requirement you need to be able to select any music on your system to play as background music? Or am I getting my wires completely crossed? I remember them saying something was implimented due to the XBox lol.
I still have the Original UT soundtrack on my Ipod.
The W:ET menu music still comes up in my head at times, prompting me to want to play that game again, so maybe not a direct gamelpay addition, but definitely adding to replay value.
It’s been my experience that music can sometimes disrupt gameplay. Other than Plants vs. Zombies, I always mute the game’s music.
But, if we have to put some tunes in there, I vote for ABBA.
:stroggbanana:
Ehhh I don’t know about that. They could throw me a billion dollars and I’d work on gameplay for them, but that doesn’t mean it’d be any good.
Yeah, obviously you’d hope developers are paid on their skill and talent… but ‘money’ doesn’t necessarily make or break games.
Basically what I’m trying to say is, if they spend a bit of money on music, it doesn’t mean gameplay is necessarily going to suffer.
Generally speaking the budget defines the game by a lot, more people, higher skilled people, longer development time etc.
I just got Frontlines Fuel of War on that Steam sale. It’s an excellent example of the best intentions, some proper talent but a seriously lack of budget which means the game doesn’t feel right at all. In the end it resembles a cheap ETQW knock-off the most.

That would be absolutely terrible xD.
Music? Is that your biggest concern on this game? How about the fact that Bethesda Softworks (B.S for short; ironic) is known for shoddy management and low quality standards? (Google Fallout 3) Personally, I was excited for this game until I found out BSers were involved. Trust me, don’t get your hopes up. Fallout 3 (aka Bug City) proved to me that you can’t trust this company.
Unlike Fallout, Bethesda is not developing this title. Also, I have way less problems with bugs in such huge game environments like Fallout than tight competitive scenes like SD’s games.
