Can you please post your compile options.

Which version of q3map2 have you installed?

For which game are you mapping?

How have you installed q3map2?

How do you start your compile?

If you use gtkradiant and you have installed a newer version of q3map2 into the gtkradiant directory you’ve made a mistake.
A new version of q3map2 has to be installed in it’s own directory.

Hey!
here I go:

  1. if I understand u right u mean how I compile?

well, I do like this
a. bsp, normal
b. vis, fast
c. light, fast

If u should mean how the tab is set up, I’ll guess this all like in the versions of the Q3map2Toolz right? (correct me on this one if I get it all wrong)

  1. The version is for time being: (0.06.12)
(have tryed one older version as well, with an different error…lol)

  2. i’m mapping for Q3 Arena

  3. Made an folder named ‘Q3map2’, like thisC:\Programfiles\Quake III Arena\Q3map2

  4. I just save it in GTK-Radiant when ready to compile (sometimes I bsp it radiant to “devmap” it to test)
then start Q3map2Toolz, but this is when it was working… no it will not work at all and I get this message:

Run-time error ’713’

class not registered.
You need the following file to be installed on your machine, MSSTDFMT.DLL

  1. No, I dont put the Q3map2 in the GTK-Radiant directory, however, I do use the paths to GTH_Radiant to set Q3map2 up, and that is right?

So, I hope this is an better answer to my problem, and I have allso used the cofigtool to remove old patch and so…

Thanks

Strange.
I’ve just searched my computer and have found the file in:
“c:/windows/system32”

As it is named MS…DLL I suggest that it is shipped with Windows.

Try to search the file on your computer.

hey!

yea, I have searched my comp. for the dll, and is there, that was the first thing I did before I posted my request here…lol

It there allrigth…

[C:\WINDOWS\system32 ]

So my teory is that q3map2toolz cant find it…

Hmmm…

(nUllSkillZ) #6

Try to just copy it to the q3map2toolz directory.
