I always find Yahtzee pretty funny. Maybe its because I know some of this stuff is true or its just one of the games hes ‘reviewed’ that I’ve played. Last game was pokemone BW 6 weeks ago .

Pretty funny - he does actually have some good points, comparing to TF2 is lame though.

My favourite review is still the angry review (link). The grenade animations part cracks me up, “ohh no everybody stand back, that looks pretty dangerous” :smiley:

Some of the issues pointed out don’t bother me much. The game is quite allright in itself if only I could get it to work.

And your point? I’m on a Nvidia gtx460 never had one issue of crashing or low stuttered FPS issue in game, only ones I’ve had are the sound popping out in Refuel and the Text artifacts…

My Nvidia GTX 580 plays the game fine, maybe this OpenGL crash is related to something other than card itself, for example the combination of parts in your PC…?.. when was the last time you cleaned dust from your GPU with a can of compressed air…?

Yahtzees reviews always make me smile/laugh and I agree with Smokesins comments, he’s an entertainer fiirst.

I have found that if I really dislike a game Yahtzees review is spot on.

I have old SLi 9800m(that’s laptop) GTX cards, and the game runs at 40fps on min settings. I seem to be hitting 60 more often than not recently, however.

yahtzee only does bad reviews to this date i havent seen a good one he is just an attacker of all things good/mostly bad things and just bashes them, it kinda gives the game its short comings their due ceprt i can tell class differnces he is just a moroon

What I’m saying is that since mister Yahtzee’s been to Valve Studios, even if he acknowledges he doesn’t play multiplayer games because he can’t smack that other dude in the face, all of a sudden all Valve games are the best ever, and all Valve does is multiplayer games.

And let me tell you another great fact about Yahtzee, he only plays on consoles, go figure.

So yeah, forgive me for taking a big **** on his ‘reviews’ or better yet, cries of ‘hireMeIIzTehBestGameDesignerEvaIKnow****AndStuff’.

My graphic cards are fine. They run all my other games fine. My MSI 460 doesn’t have space to collect dust and my EVGA 460 isn’t even a month old yet.

Its so funny how people are still defending brink. Beside im not even able to play the game without fps issues it isnt good. 50 bucks on that game is wasted money and i somehow dont agree that its only a matter of taste. brink is a technical desaster. it has NO innovations at all. Objective based gameplay is nothing new. just because the chain it up on one map… whatever. the graphics are bad too… i know everyone will hate me now but i bought bfbc2 for 20 bucks and its a 10000 times the fun brink is. I feel robbed sry. My patience is gone. The patch this week was a joke, the ati hotfix didnt work for me too. crap game.
tell me plz: What makes brink better than any other fps game?!What does it offer, that you dont get 100 times better in other games?. And dont say “your not a teamplayer, you cannot understand teambased gameplay” because you can also have great teamplay in other fps… just dont get it.

No, You are though, for not comprehending what I said in my last comment… Game is crashing for you but it’s not for me, So obviously there is some type configuration going on your end that’s screwing things up otherwise I would be experiencing the same thing Mr. Dopeyminergic.
