Edit (because i cant find an old thread about this topic, and don´t want to warmup something super old):
To be honest, I was quiet enthusiastic when i jumped into the game the verry first time. But I don´t really get it, why strafing is not possible. It was quiet easy to learn, so it can be taught by a tutorial or something like that pretty fast, and allowed faster and more intense movement. When you had to run for 10 secounds or something like that, you had to do your strafing properly, so it never got boring to run, and it made some fights even more epic.

Sprinting would be nice in all directions, since it penalizes you by not being able to shoot at all.

Omg, the videos that can be found on youtube: at that same site as the manitee or only a few clicks away, there all kinds of violent videos: Cobra kills his owner, police executes man, robber shot through the head etc. All this can be watched at Youtube, but post a video with a pair of breasts and you are banned. Only in America, man.

Well, that strafing isn´t possible in Xt is the one sad thing. But why does the space button feel more like a “jump into a stealth wall” then a actual jump ahead? Please who ever decided to make the jumps this way, pls stand up, run at a decent speed (like you would hit the shift button in Xt) and then jump. Then think about how much different your jump will be from the jump you can experience in Xt. It just feels insanely odd, when I run with fullspeed, and then Jump, and from all of the sudden feel like I have slowed down in an instant.
