Main issue with macros and being banned by them is question behind are they allowed or not. I think if SD is going to implement ban system like FairFight, they need to clarify this question early and clearly enough. In APB, Reloaded Productions only mentioned them being the “grey area” so no user got beforehand warning before their bans got in place. While I personally agree that macros that aren’t implemented to game shouldn’t be allowed, I disagree how bans were handled without early warnings. But in the other hand, FairFight was running a month without people noticing it to get early mass bans going on.
Xigncode & SandBoxie
agree on this. it would be a logical step in the competitive direction to loudly state, that fairplay also excludes macroses like multi shots and recoil compensation. this realy can attract many players from different skill tiers. and visa versa - this can alienate those, who uses macroses (also a positive fact!!)
Was updating the Cevo AC client for a csgo match tonight and noticed it had downloaded a sandbox.exe. Could this be related to sandboxie? Hope it doesn’t trigger a ban

I can not seem to run Dirty Bomb due to the permission error caused by Xigncode. nor do I know what sandbox is. is it a zonelabs firewall thing? since i have that installed. any info will help
thanks,
Could well be an antivirus(/firewall) interfering if you haven’t disabled it, one thing to try is to verify the game’s cache, if it downloads anything then either the last update was corrupted or the antivirus quarantined/deleted/encrypted suspect files.
