I use sandboxie, hardware monitoring software, and third party macro software (because I have a cheap keyboard). And I have to manually disable all of these just to play Dirty Bomb. Xigncode is also a huge privacy invasion because of the logs it keeps and SENDS TO THIRD PARTY SERVERS without our permission. As a legitimate user of these programs it feels like a middle finger is being shoved in my face because I value privacy and security and use programs to ensure it. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
Xigncode needs to go...
I agree that Xigncode has to go, apart from false positives it scans all your recently accessed files and logs them. It’s a huge invasion of privacy.
This though,
Lmao, macros are forbidden for a reason. Including those from logitech/other software. Even if this game gets other software, this will not be allowed.

I don’t understand why macros are considered so evil. They can’t do aimbot. And I use it to rebind keys not do 100s of things at once. My keyboard layout if f***ed so I have to rebind stuff and move the keys.
I don’t see what simple rebinds you can do with a macro script that you can’t do with the game, example?
i bound my f* keys to other system functions because I’m a power user and like to have immediate access to those things. Some are bound to GPU/CPU OC, others are bound to frequently used softwares.
Oh that’s fine, I meant in the game. I thought you were talking about rebinding movement or something.
I as well have some autohotkey scripts that rebind some keys for my day to day use. I haven’t been flagged for them yet even though I never turn them off so that’s good.
Macros have been used in the past to help negate recoil and similar things. That’s why they are limited/banned by a lot of AC software. The software can’t tell what you’re doing with it so it just blankets it as a big “nope”.
The devs have said they are looking into other options for AC.

Thats good thanks for that. But NEGATING RECOIL!! How in the world???
In some games having a macro system automatically shoot, tap down, shoot, tap down can keep a gun on target. They are a bit more sophisticated than that in most setups but you probably get the general idea. In some games the shot pattern is always the same and that too can be negated using macros that are a bit more complex. So many AC programs universally ban all known macro programs. Whether that is a good idea or not is debatable but that is the reason why they are banned in some cases.
