I believe they are working on finding another program to replace Xignpoop as their anti-cheat.

I’m not sure how many they have banned, but wouldn’t all the bans reset if they switch the system over to something else?

E.g. Punkbuster bans by a punkbusterID. Switching PB over to VAC can’t work, as vac uses a steam guid.

But the manual bans of the obvious cheaters that got past the system I’m assuming would stay

I got a question, is it not possible to use multiple anticheat softwares at the same time?
like VAC, punkbuster and xigncode together? do they conflict, isn’t it more safe?

Red Orchestra 2 used Punkbuster and VAC, I’m assuming to play off each other.
VAC with a delay wave, Punkbuster with instant bans and better community support.
You’d have to contact Tripwire to know if that solution really worked or not.

Like i’ve mentioned before i was banned on another game by xigncode for 2 months for using a program which changes the colours of the game so i can actually see wtf is going off im legaly blind and am almost 100% blind in my left eye so have an issue with with simaler colours/greys and monotone’s i contacted them on several occasions and got nothing but replies in broken english telling me i hacked, i did eventually resolve my issue but by that time i’d lost faith in the game they were providein the anti cheat for and as such they lost my custom (£250-300ish in about 10 months).

Honestly i’ve never heard anyone ever mention them in a good light , VAC and punkbuster etc have there flaws but atleast they do there job on occasion and dont ban people for anti virus software.
