I want to play with the voice of Alec Newman but as soon as i switch my character the voice of my main char gets permanently changed to someone elses (i think its the first one on the list).
Startet a new Char because of this and now after a few games he too has a different voice. And there seems to be no way to change it back.
I found a workaround on another forum but it doesn’t work for me.
So SD please write this down on your long list of bugs to fix. Or make the voices changeable.
Same here. I had three characters, one using Richie Campbell, one using Jimmy Akimbola and one using Ryan McClusky, and they ALL changed voices to Damian O’Hare (the Irish one at the top of the list in the voice menu). To start off with they were fine, but after I changed character and then changed back their voices had been set to him.
Something else to note is that my preferred class keeps being set back to Soldier (the default), so this could be some kind of reset glitch that doesn’t just affect voices.
The class bug is easy to ignore, and while the voice thing isn’t a gamebreaking glitch it does mean I miss out on a lot of customization (I’m reaaaaally starting to get sick of that Irish accent right now!). Hopefully SD will add this to the list of things they need to fix for the next patch.
(…and hopefully they don’t follow Bethesda’s example by completely failing to support their games at all…)
