:frowning:
I bought my brother and I a copy of brink and we noticed some minor annoyances in the beginning… as soon as the brink introductory video plays we both said the same thing at the same time " Uh did you see that line in the screen? " Referring to a really ugly idunno anti aliasing thing i guess. Don’t forget that textures take a few seconds to load. I mean just turn 90 degrees and then back and wham that metal pipe is now play doh.

ASIIDDE from the minor nuances some of the MAJOR ones

Friends:: Sup guyz! Wnna ply sme brank? Sho buddy! How do we join?
RandumIdjet:: I run into some game that may or may not have enough spots!
Friends:: Isn’t that a lil hard to do?
RandyumGuy: NAW!! tHEY added a “invite party” button.
Friends:: SWEET! They knew we would need it!
Randyumguy:: Ok invites sent!!
Friends:: Oh my god…
Rubberbandman:: SLOW MOTION FOR MEH SLOW MOTION FOR MEEHHH
Randygumguy:: NOO!! RUN!!
Friends:: We can’t!! We keep jumping back and forth!! RUBBERBANDING!!
Steve:: Hey guys… I didn’t get in btw.

All joking aside they got one thing right for sure.
They didn’t make the multiplayer code protected. :d I’ll sell both my copies if the gameplay isn’t ironed out

try playing with the “old skool” game settings, there seems to be a lot less lag and, big bonus, - No bots!

Old Skool settings?

Yeah, it took me a while to find it, too. When you select free play, it’ll take you to a menu where you can select game options, one of which is called something like “match settings”. It’s set to “standard” by default, but you can change it to “advanced” (adds friendly fire), competition(smaller teams, no terminal buffs) or “old skool” (friendly fire, no bots).

The only problem with “old skool” (why they spelled it with a ‘k’ I’ll never know) is that you can get stuck playing a 1-on-1 match, or have unbalanced teams. Still, it’s much better than having to deal with stupid bots and crazy lag(it still has some, but there’s less), in my opinion.
