www.real-et.com : The truth about radar !

(Shazam) #1

I proud to present to you the 2nde file of Real-et.com : Radar !
«We are going to discover the historical context behind the famous radar of the Wurzburg Radar map.
In order to replace the facts, we’re going to talk about the plague of bombardments and the aerial war. This new insecurity brings the armies to exploit(run) the invention of the electromagnetic waves. The first radars appeared in the 30s, but the innovations will jealously be guarded by the nations in their own territory. That was shown by the commando operation «Biting» in February 1941 at Bruneval (France). We’ll discover the importance of this raid for the allied Forces.
We’ll also take a look at the incredible performances of the Wurzburg FuMG39 radar and also all the applications of the radar during the war.
Finally, we’ll finished by the comments of Bongoboy, Splash Damage’s designer, and Gorobei, Real-ET’s historian…»

Yep !

again very nice to read… viewing the pics is always amazing me. hey, we all use reference pics
when constructing some buildings, but when knowing the ingame scenery first and THEN viewing
the reference pics… this feels kinda unreal

looking forward to see the reports of the other maps in the near future… keep it up!!

sorry to sound all smart assy but i allready knew about that after watching programm about it, i noticed straight away from watching, when allied troops made stop off at an abondoned villa, i imediatly thought of allies first spawn  only difference though is they went to coast to be picced up which iam guessing would make map too big if was implemented

but still good work, iam sure others who didnt know are fasinated by the background of the maps and such things, your railgun artical was great also, keep up good work :drink:
