and i loved it from the beginning.
but i cant play a game, where the broke an merc for fgts sake and dont even try to rebalance it…
sure phantom is just 1 merc from many, but its the attitude i cant handle.

now where red eye is back. phantom is even more useless and i am strongly believed thats not possible…

1/ Redeye can see phantom.

Ok? So Phantom can shoot him, flank him like any other merc, and otherwise just not engage head on. This is no different than people complaining Sparks can’t just charge down a Rhino and expect a win. Phantom is no more or less useless now than he was pre-patch.

2/ Something something melee.

Not really sure I understand your issue, but melee is still being looked at as far as I know. Give it time.

3/ You’re a real gamer and you think Dirty Bomb is being aimed at casuals.

I think we’re playing different games at this point.

All phantom needs is a minor buff, either to his health, or a tiny bit more absorbtion on his shield, like 10hp and that is all the merc would need and i would feel the merc is perfectly balanced, as a small compensation for the now more visible cloak when performing your flanking role.

Also, the melee slow is not just hampering the katana loving phantoms but also the people that like to use melee in general, we are also being thrown off our games when the slow happens duing a mouseswipe

So ideally SD just finetunes the melee turn limiter to the point where its not noticable during normal gameplay, even with heavy mouseswipes due to low sensativity and that would go a long way for all mercs, not just phantom.
