The whole mess with stopping to sell boosters that boost more days than the season has left would not be necessary if ranked boosters would just work like credit boosters and only count down on playtime.

Probably someone thought that ranked boosters expiring in real time would encourage players to play as much ranked as possible while their booster is active.

It does. But it also makes me not buy one, because I won’t pay
100% for something that I can only use 15% of (realistically).

I was nearly gonna spend the $3 for on when my video card gave up the ghost. No I don’t mine. But I can see their reasoning in removing an item that is for hard currency yet can only realize a benefit for a portion of its lifespan. Otherwise people will be screaming for a refund.

It’s reasonable, but they should have mentioned that this will be happening in their weekly youtube videos.
