WTF is this shit? (Balance Issue)

So… I was playing a competitive match tonight, in which one of my teammates died trying to knife a turret and another died continuously to a Rhino while a few of us reminded him to shoot Auras pack next to him, and you know, not go head to head with a Rhino at close range as something that shouldn’t and I felt something was up. Sure enough, the far more competent enemy team turned out to be 4 golds and a unranked. Our team aside from my self was entirely unranked. Hell, I am only ranked silver. I thought they sorted out MM already. Was this enemy team a pre-made to force the game or something? If so, why are they allowed to do this? I have won and lost many rounds for ridiculous reasons, but being stuck playing this kind of stuff and for silly rank levels this is just not fun. I will get off my soapbox now, you all have a good one!

Sad thing is that you were a higher level than them. Someone can be gold rank from playing a lot just the same as someone can be lvl 20 and be terrible when compared to other people my level. (this is me) Even so the matchmaking is still messed up no matter how people try to defend it.

I personally believe that anyone under 150 hours of game time should not be allowed to play ranked. But hey, that’s my 450-hours-of-experience-2-cents.

They are reworking the matchmaking algorithm hopefully soon, until then they have even recommended to avoid competitive games. Now of course if you have a competitive mission you can always just get it done really quick(Unless it’s a win, in that case it’s faster to cancel it).

Yeah man, I feel you. I really try to enjoy comp but it usually involves me effortlessly stomping unrankeds or getting stomped because my team is mostly level 5 unrankeds. Or hackers. Etc. I’d say 1 in 5 matches are decent/close/not hacked out/not filled with unrankeds.
