You wanted it, TB made it :
I am still watching the video right now.
I watched the whole thing earlier. He made a pretty fair assessment and I agree with quite a bit of it. He did make a few errors (forgetting/not knowing Aura and Skyhammer are free and merc costs in general) but nothing that really detracts from his overall opinion and impressions and the impressions people will get.
Basically, it was exactly what I expected TB to say about DB. I mostly fair but somewhat confusing business modeled coupled with a great playing game that might be limiting itself by sticking to safer play ideas and not doing much brand new. It’s more of a melting pot of ideas than something going for 100% originality.
So good stuff to him as always and I hope the devs pay attention to a few of his key points in regards to the business model and adding more originality to the game in regards to weapons and environments.

watched it too and left a comi about Aura
I agree its a fair review with some mishaps here and there.
I have some hopes for DB. It has potential, if handled right and so far i dont see why not. I hope reviews like this give people a better view of the game and encourage them to try it out. When i started playing i red a lot of bad stuff, especially about the buisness modell. So far I’m fairly happy and enjoying the game
Replacing Aura with Sawbonez as a starter merc would be the best decision SD could do
one of the few fair reviews and dare i say educated review ? since he bothered to research the game to an extent unlike other reviewers they yell pay to win with out actually looking at the cash shop
disagree,
its fine; aura is much more of a supportive medic, she can plonk the station and camp in safety while learning the game.
Sawbonez requires more knowledge about how medic work etc. to be effective. new players playing sawbonez would just die all the time, repeatedly picking up their medpacks and losing regen to enemy fire.

Sawbonez might actually encourage the ‘Rambo medic’ style of gameplay that some may be familiar with from ET… If he was free that is. Some people use him like that already.

Aura is more of a gimmick. Sawbones is the classical medic everybody’s used to playing. Fuck the new players.

Then the people who want to use him will buy him, won’t they? Only 30,000 credits and they practically hand them to you at level 2 and 4.

When you think about how a medic works, and the size of the maps, it would be a lot better to give out the old ET medic, cause not only does he have a gun meant for all ranges, but also the medpacks which are a lot easier to give out unlike having people to backtrack to the healing station.
I’d say Aura is harder to use than Sawbonez as Aura is more defensive and to be honest, HARDER to use correctly due to her being squishy, fast, and having to deal with station pick up, cooldown and range.
Nah I disagree with ya Szak, Sawbonez should be default Aura feels more specialised.
'cept of course shotgun lmao

Aura is harder to use correctly at higher lvls of play - you have to remain mobile, relocate the station; etc.
on a max lvl5 you can plonk the station and just camp it out defensively. It gives you a breathing space, unlike any other ability in the game.
ET medic would feel more natural to oldschool ET players, but that is just a fraction of the present game population. Hell, ‘kidz’ these days never heard of quake, lol.
