With Casual Match Making on the horizon, we thought we’d take some time out to share with you our thoughts, aims and goals of Casual Matchmaking.
WTF is Casual Matchmaking
Hoping you guys update it to look for new people who are looking for match making to fill in for people who have left… as being a man down early on can pretty well wreck the rest of the game for that team.
Look forward to the next test.
Dear @stayfreshshoe,
Wouldn’t it be better if:[list]
[] instead of players joining “one big pool” of casuals wanting to have a go then end up with computed randoms, the player can elect to create a mini “micro pool” of 5 players or less, join an existing “micro pool” or get invited into an open pool, and that pool’s computed skill level is matched up with a local “micro pool” with more or less skill? In this process, 5 player party system is catered for manually, and the applied system of matchmaking with nearly the same level of skill is called once per match. Also, in a “party system” shuffling will be DISABLED inb4 shuffle trolls who are sore CS:GO losers.
[] if a player is not in a “micro pool”, that is the occasion where he/she is in the bigger pool of waiting for an invite or searching for a party to pool with. Strong players with high skill level will affect the pool’s weight and of course this will affect how each party gets matched up with who.
Further to this, players in the same pool can see each other’s merc squad line up so as they can coordinate better in merc selection a nd form better synergies for the match.

@SnakekillerX
That’s a good point and I hope they are looking into this.
