When I play medic I often find my self avoiding combat to the point were I don’t benifit much from having a secondary weapon as I infrequently use my primary. I personally would replace my secondary for a fourth augment of my choice. Should you?
Would you trade you secondary for a fourth augment
Heck no. Quick switching to finish someone when you’ve been pulled into extended fights or fights with multiple people back to back? Secondary is absolutely essential.
Quickslash on CR94 over a Revolver? Heck yeah.
Ice Cold over the Revolver on R93 Rhino? Heck yeah.
How about trading my augments for secondaries instead? I’ll take all the machine pistols + the M9 thanks.
For a merc like Nader I think that could work since she has an extra weapon as an ability.
So yeah I guess it depends on which merc you’re playing.
Yes, I want Flying Pig for my loadouts instead of secondary weapon.
I have lost count of the times I have run dry on Grandeur ammo and had to resort to Caulden/Kukri to hold out until I can reach an ammo box/find a fire support class who actually gives ammo rather than hoarding it for themselves.
Not because I am a particularly good shot with the grandeur and can pick off people before they even get close to killing me.
No.
Much the opposite, I am an absolutely atrocious shot and use up all 36 rounds to get maybe 3/4 kills.
maybe only on mercs whose primary is their special, like a rhino or sparks
Dirty bomb without a sidearm is like a boxer without legs. You probably can get a few good hits in but you’re gonna get fucked
It really depends.
Of course I’d give away my pistol as Sparks, same goes for Phantom or Fletcher.
But giving away my pistol as Vassili? Fuck no.
