Would you like to have a second chance o get event skins

YES I KNOW WHAT THEY SAID "event cards wont be available

i think it would be a cool idea to get a chance to get s2 loadouts in event skins or even new mercs, for example cw thunder

+a chance to get new mercs in skins to available before
+chance to get s2 cards in event skins
+more money for devs to finnish the game
+may attract new players

-devs said they wont be available (if they would make them available it would look quite bad)
-some ppl may not enjoy that their cards are less rare (which is fine, i get it)

Now here’s my logic. You need the event card, and a buttload of fragments, and a buttload I credits, for a reroll. You needed to be around for the event (or have card in the case of trading), and still expend a lot of time to get the reroll. You may also be limited to the merc you recieved the card for (you shouldn’t be able to get, say, a culprit Stoker. I cri errytime.) though this could be restricted to certain cards, such as obsidian loadouts, so you could still trade in the ReV rhino you never wanted for a sweet sweet Quickslash phantom.

EDIT: I forgot to mention; if you reroll a card, you can only get the event skin of that card

Nope… but i do think they should offer some sort of trade in for the guys who got Duplicate Special Event cards!!

I like to at least be able to trade event cards in. I have a few repeat suspect cards, and have a phantom card and a Fletcher card from the containment war, and I don’t use Fletcher and barely use phantom soooo yeah. I mean yeah trading should fix this, but it would be nice just to be able to do it now instead of hanging onto cards I never use.

Nah, all these past event cards I got, either look unappealing or belong to gen 1. Wish I could delete them, or recycle them.

I’d rather wait longer for some major updates. Since it’s fall, there are many video game hit titles coming that’ll keep many busy, and I got an eye for one.

i think i misunderstood this poll :smiley: I said yes for only one reason… obsidian cards. They have in the past given out free obsidian (phoenix) and a paid one (proxy). I would like them to have more events where you can get obsidian’s. Even if they are by purchase only. i think periodically opening obsidian’s up for purchase could help the devs get more money :slight_smile: i don’t know if this is a good idea or not, it was just a thought of mine :slight_smile:

Event cards are supposed to signify that you have been playing at least since that event. It’s kind of like holiday items from RuneScape in a sense. If you have them, it’s like a badge or medal proving your time and dedication to the game. If anyone could just craft them at any time, the event cards would lose all the value they currently hold.

Just let us trade in our Gen 1 SE, HB and Obsidians to Gen 2. They could charge 50k or something.

Past events are past. Like some of the others above though, I would really like something to do with the Special Edition and Obsidian cards I have but don’t use: reroll for other loadouts or something…

I’d like to trade in crappy cards from previous events for cards from new event. Like:
one rev card + two gold = current event card.

I’d just prefer that they gave us the option to upgrade our useless gen1 special edition cards into gen2 ones.

A simple drag box with one slot. Click and drag your card and then click “upgrade to gen2”… Heck even if it costed credits or real money to do it (or both) I would be fine with.

It’s the best of both worlds then. Those of us who want to keep our gen1 cards can, and those who want to upgrade to gen2 can do so as well. We all get to control our own inventories. Ez mode.

As for allowing people to get special edition cards again - Just nah. They’re limited edition for a reason. If they’re going to start allowing people to get CW and Dickens skins again, I (and I’m sure many others) want a chance to get my hands on founders cards too. So I’m pretty sure it will never happen.

If they were open to get whenever, it would simply be like adding more tiers on top of cobalt. Event cards are from events. If you weren’t there, you shouldn’t have the card. Yeah I’d like to have a couple of the older ones (I get jelly every time I see a humble bundle skin) but I’m ok with the fact I never will :stuck_out_tongue:

An option to recycle or re-craft them would be cool though.

I have a better idea :
1- Separate skins from cards ;
2- Choose how spend your fragments : weapon/perks setup (loadout) OR skin of higher rarity (of selected merc) ;
3- Attach your favorite skins onto the unlocked loadout of your choice ;
4- Play :smiley: ;

Then you could buy special/event skins/ability effect from the shop

I don’t mind having a 2nd chance but I think that it should be something that happens by times
So for example: Every winter at round Xmas time, we will get a chance to get WTD skins. As well as adding new skins and every time there is a major crime somewhere we will get rev cards and etc.

When a new merc is released, it will be possible to get a special edition card for them even if they weren’t available during the actual event (for example: suspect Skyhammer and CW Aimee)
Special edition cards should also have multiple skin variants; every time the event cards come back it will be possible to get the card with the old skin/s or with the new skin added (for example: WTD cards will have a 50% chance to include the old green sweater thing and 50% chance to include the Santa skin or whatever skin is added this year, and a year later it will be 33% green sweater, 33% Santa and 33% elf which will be added next year and etc.)
These mini events should last a week or so (maybe 2 if you decide to release an event or a merc or something with it)

And the converting 1st gen cards to 2nd gen is something that has already been discussed before. Splash Damage pls

I think it would be nice and a lot better than having all special edition cards available for some time. It will be easier to get the exact card you want (still rare, but not as rare as if there were like 5 special edition card variants available all together) and even if you don’t get the card you want, it will come back next year

Event skins are exclusive, that’s the whole point.
