Would you like to be able to skip intro vids on match startup?

… because if one is set to play for frags, no intro will change his mind. Unless Nexon will try and succeed to indoctrinate playerbase with some serious 25th frame sh<>t :stuck_out_tongue:

Just to be super clear: I’m not against waiting, just don’t make me watch and listen to same crap over and over again.

theyre mostly there for the benefit of slow loaders and nooblits but if you could skip it and even just watch a countdown timer or review the teams mercs or just a few tips and a dirty bomb logo would be less annoying

SD has said it’s meant to sync the player’s information like models, loadouts, ranks and skill level when you’re deploying. So even if you’re already in-game screen, you still need to stand there for 15 seconds waiting for the server to sync either way. So they will not change the intro for map startup.

You can turn them off in the config but of course you are forced to sit and watch your spawnpoint until everything loads up.

What I would like more is an option for full colour during the countdown part just before match/round begins - it’s like the most obvious time to press G and stroke your ePeen admiring your weapon but it’s black and white!

In fact I would like an option to remove all black and white moments because those are the moments when you actually get a chance to mastur…inspect your silver/gold/cobalt skin.

To me it is just weird that the defender is watching the attacking video >.> lol and hey maybe some newbs out there will try to defend the bomb they are suppose to defuse <.<

Actually, it has been 4350394584 times I’ve seen the intro vids…

Seriously though, I’ve seen them enough. After playing for more than 110 hours, I think I understand the basic idea by now… :slight_smile:

I think it will be ok if the vid is there in all Max5 servers… after that there is no need

I would be fine with skipping it if that just means we’ll be sitting in the “Round Start:” screen for a couple more seconds. I get that it renders the map, but no need to watch the video while it does that.
