Fragger is slower and his nades require skill. He got nerfed down to 1 nade, while Proxy still has 2 mines. What if I say you Fragger players need to aim their nades? Or precook them and not just putting them in a corner and getting free kills.
Also funny how people disagree on objective facts. There already was a video with the proof. You can’t dodge mines if you don’t have that perk where they track you slower than normal.
It makes them free-skillless-kills. That’s why every Proxy ever always spam every C4 place and get multiple kills with this cheat move.
Or - you could easily spot the mine and shoot it from a distance. Besides, mines are made for defending, it’s hardly a cheat move to place a few near the C4.
So tell me then how you spot a mine which is behind a corner in a corridor from distance? Or if they’re “glitched” into generators or half on diagonal-shaped walls? If you can’t counter them 100% of the time, they’re cheap and unfair gamedesign-wise.
It’s a stationary circle with a ring of red around it. If you suspect that there’s a mine somewhere toss an AoE in there and it will be guaranteed neutralised. Mines around corners are easy to predict, just long jump past them since there’s a short amount of time before it detonates.
Oh boy are you pretending or do you really wanna say you have time to check every corner for the mine sound when people are shooting around you? Please make a video of you seeing every mine you come across and neutralizing it if you can do it and I’m just bad. Please, enlighten me.
Those dumb-ass mines should be changed to either:
a) claymores with a fixed detector for spotting enemies
b) much smaller mines but without a dumb 2 meters activating range.
Of course I don’t. You die sometimes, that’s the game. After a while, going up against the same proxies throughout a match, you can predict where they’re going to place it. It’s especially easy when they place it out in the open as well, it’s like free XP. @laudatoryLunch
