So, just for fun, let’s see how many Wolfenstein ET ex-player do we have here.

I’m the #1 one on this little roll-call
Wolfenstein Enemy Territory Roll-Call!
Come come on, I know there are more out there!
We planted a lot of dynamite at nazis fuel tanks back in the days
(Well, I used a lot the nazi engy with Kar 98k and Stielgranate to be honest, but also I did a lot of covert ops with my trusty Sten Mk.II o:) )
Oh dear, I did play a lot of RTCW:ET back in the day!
Man, that game was a blast
W:ET was the best multiplayer back in the days, matches were about missions, roles in the squad (if you have different classes in online FPS nowadays it’s mostly because of ET) and not about mindless TD and it was well balanced and executed (before the community tinkered too much with the mods, but that was after the game went obsolete, years and years after the initial release).
COD was a strong FPS in single player (I know only about the first two, anyway, the other one never caught me, maybe because they jumped to the consoles) but in multiplayer was not as good as ET, IMHO.

Not really, if you want a teamgame, you can play Battlefield. No teamplay, no win.
COD is all about yourself and your skill. You are good, you make kills, then you win even if you have low team, that’s the difference.

The game that got me into comp FPS, the good old “haul your CRT to a LAN” days. Loads of fun, met some great people through ET that still remain great friends in RL to this very day.
Oh I played tons of it. Not competitively however, was in it for the fun. First game I played competitively was Quake III Arena 1.16n Freezetag.
