but what Wolf mods have been successful?
in all seriousness… none. Few have been released, but none have really ‘caught’ the community long term. (such as Urban Terror, RA3, DoD… etc) …I’m talking client side mods.

…and to start this late, when HL2 and other engines are on the horizon with far better tools and support from the developers.

Also, if you’re adding new player models… welllll… be prepared for MDS nightmares. I remember Pants got custom MDS going for his WolfTactiks mod, and our modeler got a 1/2 workign MDS for GreatCrusade before we threw in the towel.

RTCW IS WHAT WERE TAKING THE SOURCE CODE FROM TO MAKE THE SINGLE PLAYER BUT FOR MULTIPLAYER WERE TAKING THE ET CODE!!! WE ARE MAINLY AIMING TO MAKE THE SP FIRST!!!

If you didn’t notice urgrund was talking about the difficulties of RtCW mod making. For total conversions, you would probably have much better luck with quake3. Nonetheless, you will soon see what urgrund is talking about.

There are people out there witch are doing mods for fun and to improve their skills.
The love to see then people play their mod but if not then they dont care because they learned something for themselfs.

Btw WW-Mod is quite sucessful. Mor then wolf-tctics or other pr0-mods.
